Rating: Summary: My All-Time-Favorite Movie Review: I feel like I have been waiting forever for this movie to be re-released. Bowie's best role ever. It's as exciting as it is funny. It's a movie I grew up with and I think adults will enjoy it just as much as kids. For anyone who's ever had a fantasy, (and anyone who's ever had a fantasy about David Bowie) this is all your most elaborate dreams on-screen. Five stars, two thumbs up, or whatever you use to rate things.
Rating: Summary: This movie was a technical and artistic work of genius. Review: This movie was by far one of Jim Henson's most creative and mind-expanding movies. It is great for young readers who wish their siblings to go away (he he) and it is just an overall enlightening and wonderful piece of work!
Rating: Summary: Great Movie Review: Come on, re-release the movie, I have hunted everywhere and cannot find it. Its a great kid/adult movie
Rating: Summary: Excellent characters, and David Bowie at his most Beautiful! Review: This movie is out of print, but has a bit of a cult following, because it is so wonderful! I can't even find it to rent! Thanks for carrying it for me to buy.
Rating: Summary: THE Best of Henson and Bowie Review: I have been DYING to find a copy of this movie forever! The puppetry is fantastic, David Bowie is just amazing, and the storyline makes you want ot watch it over and over again. I reccomend it everyone who has any taste in movies whatsoever!
Rating: Summary: Perfection. . . Review: I've always loved this movie and now, after waiting and writing to the Jim Henson Company, its finally coming out! This is an amazing flim, with a wonderful cast and script. For all you fantasy lovers out there, this is the film for you. And any Henson fans too; snatch this deal up as soon as you can. If it were possible, I would give it more than five stars.
Rating: Summary: Gotta Love This Movie! Review: I loved this movie the first time I saw it! It's like I've always dreamed of, an adventure in fantasy land, and a handsome bad guy. Well, he's not really bad but not so good. How could ANYONE not love this movie? I have been trying to get ahold of it but no one has it! RE-RELEASE THE THING! I could never grow tired of this movie. It's perfect for anyone who has a wild imagination. If someone hasn't seen it, track it down somewhere and watch it. It's one of the best stories ever told and David Bowie's music puts just the right touch to the background. I don't see how anyone couldn't like it. If anyone does hate it, they're crazy.
Rating: Summary: CAN YOU BELIEVE IT???!!!! I CAN'T!! Review: Did you know Labyrinth flopped in theaters, as did many of Henson's other films (as did The Wizard of Oz) ? Now, this movie is a thought-provoking classic. . on the internet copies are sold for as much as $80! Take advantage of this offer and buy Labyrinth at. . $12.99!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Rating: Summary: A true classic of puppetry and imagination! Review: It is an unbelievable shame that this movie and it's background film The Making of Labyrinth are not available. The magic of a well-crafted mystic story presented with intriguing, ingenius, believable and yet lovable characters is all but lost. The young actress delivers a marvelous performance and I found myself more appreciative of David Bowie's abilities than ever before. If you can catch Labyrinth on a late show cancel everything else and see it! I've never seen The Making of Labyrinth, but I would drop everything to see it just once!
Rating: Summary: Prepare for a no-going-back lifetime adventure Review: If you have never before seen this film, prepare for your life to change forever. My first film memory as a child is of this film, and it's those first images, from Hoggle peeing to Ludo's "Sewah fwend" that stick with you through life. My children are gonna be brought up on it... Breakfast, Lunch, Supper! You will never lose your love for Labyrinth!.....Oh, and check out those tight trousers!
