Review: One time I was looking for a movie to rent, and found this--

I laughed because it was under the HORROR section!!!!

This movie is fun for laughs and just a family movie at that,
kids my by appprehensive about the gobllins , but they are more
comical than scary!!

I give this movie a 4 becaue I wish there were video games
like this movie-- Labyrinth video games!!

Summary: what the hell?
Review: it's a trippy movie, but the start of the movie is crazy. the main character is annoyed with her parents because she has to watch her brother on a saturday night which disrupts her hobby of going to the park alone and acting out a play by herself. i think she has bigger issues than having to watch her brother.

Summary: Awsome!
Review: Im 13 and my grandfather had recorded this movie and i watched it when i was really little and then he gave it to me. So i watched that movie every day then i was afraid i would burn it up in my VCR so i bought the DVD. This movie is really cool it takes you on a journey through a fantasy world with puppets and David Bowie and Jennifer Connely. Some parts are very funny and some parts can leave you in suspence about the next time Jereth and Sarah will be face to face. The way i could describe this movie to you would ruin it. So all i can say is this movie is something that you think you will only watch once but watch it over and over. Watch and Injoy Davids songs!

Summary: You Remind Me Of The Babe....
Review: Great movie!!! If you need one reason to see this movie it's to see David Bowie in tights, dancing around singing "Dance Magic, Dance" !!!

WARNING: MOVIE CONTAINS EXTREME PANTS!!!

"You remind me of the babe
What babe? The babe with the power
What power? Power of voodoo
Who do? You do
Do what? Remind me of the babe

I saw my baby, crying hard as babe could cry
What could I do?
My baby's love had gone
And left my baby blue
Nobody knew:

CHORUS
What kind of magic spell to use?
Slime and snails
Or puppy dogs' tails
Thunder or lightning
Then baby said
Dance magic, dance (dance magic, dance)
Dance magic, dance (dance magic, dance)
Put that baby spell on me
Jump magic, jump (jump magic, jump)
Jump magic, jump (jump magic, jump)
Put that magic jump on me
Slap that baby, make him free"

Summary: Great
Review: This movie is wonderful. I highly recommend it. All the viewers out there who liked this movie I'd also encourage you to watch the movies: The Dark Crystal, Legend, and The NeverEnding Story. I grew up on these kinds of movies and to me they're much better than the movies currently out there for kids. These movies are family type movies.

Note: Jennifer Connely was good in this movie as was David Bowie. Who would have thought he could act? The puppets are wonderful also. Nobody could do puppets like Jim Henson.

Summary: Subtitles
Review: Deaf viewers should be aware that the English subtitles on this DVD are not suitable for the hard of hearing. They do not include environmental details like "baby crying" or other sounds. The movie is captioned, though, and those captions do include the details. Please turn on the captions instead of the subtitles.

Summary: The Reviews Are Right
Review: This is a great movie, and after 700+ reviews that equal out to a five-star rating, I don't think I need to go into why, as it's all been said by now.

Here is what I will comment on. The acting of Sarah's parents. I watched this movie when I was maybe ten or younger, and at that point, did not notice this. But watch it again, and you will see that their acting, especially her father, is worse than the puppets. (The puppets were great, of course.) It's actually so bad it's funny.

This minor flaw in the movie does not diminish the number of stars, but to me, heightens the enjoyment. The parents are only in the movie for a few minutes. But they are laugh-out-loud funny to listen to. Enjoy!

Summary: A Strange but Entertaining Movie!
Review: I first saw Labyrinth on HBO and it was a weird but entertaining movie in which a young girl named Sarah played by Jennifer Connelly upset that she has to babysit her baby brother Toby makes a wish for the Goblin King played by David Bowie to take him away and when her wish comes true she must enter into a magical labyrinth to rescue Toby and along the way she makes some friends including a troll or something like that and they help her try to rescue her brother. David Bowie and Jennifer Connelly are both good and the movie also features some Jim Henson muppets which were pretty impressive and I recommend this movie, especially to people who like these bizarre fantasy movies.
