Summary: Jungle Book
Review: It's brilliant! A film with characters and songs you will never forget! A superb introduction for any child to Kipling's classic!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: terrific for kids
Review: has a bit of what could erroneously be interpreted as racisim; but is actually a tribute to Louis Amstrong, Toots Theilman, Bichet and others.

Summary: Pleased
Review: I have always loved this movie. It is my favorite Disney. The only thing that would have made it better would have been some extras and the suposed suround sound. Of the 9 DVD's in the boxed set (that all state they have full color discs) 3 did not have "full" disc art including this one. I don't care if it is the same as the VHS, This one will not break as my VHS tape did and it is so much crisper in color and sound. If you don't have it, get it. Hopefully they will not reissue this in a new "gold" edition ala Pinnochio.

Summary: the jungle book
Review: my advice is - dont bother! this dvd is exacty it`s the same as the vhs version! .it is NOT dolby surround as stated but only stereo and there are no extras on the disc at all.the colour and sound are the same as the vhs version-not re-mastered or enhanced at all for dvd.if you have it on vhs dont waste your money!

Summary: Disney's classic Jungle Book
Review: I am nearly 4o years old & this film brings back all the joys, magic, & wonder that we sometimes loose touch with as we grow older. I still catch myself singing the songs whilst doing some chore. I bought a copy for my cousins although my uncle is the one that wears out the tape! They live in another county so I dont get the chance to see the movie much. I foolishly did'nt buy a copy for myself & desperatly want a copy to be cherished in my home to share with my friends, so come on Disney re-release the film pleeeeeeese.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: a benchmark for classic Disney
Review: My son is 23 months and he literally levitates out of his seat when I pop this video in. The story, characters and especially the music just leaps from the screen. It is as entertaining for me as it is for him. I still love it after some 50 shows. The trouble is that it is unavailable on any format and my tape is on loan. Come on, Disney, re-release this one for all of today's and future addicts!

Summary: This DVD is a wallet batterer...
Review: ...but unfortunately it's worth it!

The Jungle Book is by far my favourite Disney feature - and the only one (at this price) I will buy. It is a superb film, with great, catchy tunes (listen out for "King" Louis Prima!).

The voice talent is first rate, especially George Sanders as Shere Khan and Sterling Holloway as Kaa.

As an afternote, Di$ney are apparently releasing zero extras for this disc - extremely disappointing for a DVD with a $40 RRP.

Summary: The best Disney movie EVER
Review: This was the last movie made by Walt Disney before he died. In my opinion this was his best. The music is incredibly rich .. jazz overtones and all ... the characters are colourful.

Rudyard Kipling would be proud !!!!

Summary: My son is 21 months and watches this movie 5 times/day
Review: My son is 21 months and watches this movie 5 times/day (if I let him). The other night I left it at my sisters and he cried and cried for "Jungle Book". It was a VERY long night!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Jungle book was the best I love the tiger he was cool
Review: The jungle book was so cool. I am a animal lover so I think it was neat to see many different kinds of animals. I am sorry to say I was goingfor the tiger. The tigerwas the best part of the movie. Whata animal so pretty, wise brave and yet dangures. The bear was cool and so was the wolves. The jungle book is the best next to the Lion king
