Summary: The Coolest!
Review: I remember watching this once on Nickelodeon or Cartoon Network's movie show back in 1990 or so, and being totally enthralled. The Last Unicorn is not just for kids; there's mild "language", but hey its the 80's! Great anime style from some of the folks who now work at Studio Ghibli, Japan's Disney Co., basically. (Only better^_^)I just rented it again not too long ago and wow, now i want it badly on DVD. Guess what? Germany has it! Why can't the U.S? Plus I heard there's a new film coming out, with some of the original voice actors. So please, whoever's reading this please let me have my remastered Last Unicorn fix before, say, April? Arigato!

Summary: Very Wonderful
Review: I first saw this at summer camp when I was 8. I thought it was the greatest movie in the world. I loved the story of how a unicorn lives in a forest, protects all the animals that live there, and not once thinks about seeing others her kind until 2 human hunters trying to hunt in her forest, tell her she's the last. She then goes on a quest to see if that's true. On her way she meets up with a really semi bad magician named Schmendrik...not quite sure how to spell his name though, and a human woman named Maggie. The story takes a bizzar turn when Schmendrick accidentaly (sort of) turns her into a human, while trying to save her from the red bull, which is the cause for her kinds dissapearence. Over all, this movie is very wonderful, and if it ever comes out on DVD, it is worth every penny.

Summary: Loved this movie as a kid!
Review: This movie I'd get just because...everyone loves unicorns!:) I remember as a little girl watching this movie and actually thinking unicorns did exist, right along side Santa Claus and the Easter bunny:)... They were so beautiful and magical-looking, and you know when you're younger you believe in everything! (well, at least I did) There's no such thing as never!
This movie is about the last unicorn, living in her magical forest happens to realize that she may be the last of her kind so she leaves her forest and goes searching, hoping to find more of her kind...
Anyways, this is one of my favorite animated films and something everyone can enjoy...the music is kinda corny, but the movie is still good.

Summary: Absolutely Amazing
Review: I first watched The Last Unicorn when I was about 5 years old. When I turned 15, I still remembered this movie without watching it for many years. Afterwards I started my own collection of The Last Unicorn. It touched my heart as a child and now at age 17, it is still my favourite movie. It's that kind of movie that leave good morals and values in all it's viewers. I highly recommend this movie to anyone, children and adults.

The Last Unicorn is about a courageous unicorn that goes on a journey to find her lost brothers and sisters. She meets many memorable characters, such as Shmendrick the magician, Molly Grue, Prince Lir to name a few. It is a classic!!

As mentioned in other views, there are a FEW words such as damn used in this movie. I personally do not find these words offensive, but just to let you know, in case you do. I didn't ever realize that they were even there, they are that unnoticable.

I highly suggest that everone at least view this movie once, although hopefully many more times. Enjoy!!!

Summary: A memorable movie with great songs and storyline
Review: I've loved this movie since I was a kid. Only now do I truly understand the film. I love the songs. When I was six or seven after a viewing of the movie I would be singing, "The Last Unicorn" (or "I'm Alive") for days on end. It drove my big brothers up the wall. I have just recently rediscovered the magic of the film. I haven't watched it in about eight years. So, not since I was eight. I love the movie and the songs. I never realized how much I missed my childhood until I watched this movie again. It really made me remember what it was like when I could go into my backyard and pretend that I was in the Unicorn's 'Lilac Wood'.

Summary: my favorite movie as a kid
Review: I always thought I'd eventually get to old to like a movie with wizards, unicorns, and talking cats... but fortunatley, that day has not yet come.

watch it - its a good movie to watch the first time with the whole family, since some parts did scare me a bit when I was little

Summary: I love this movie!
Review: This is such a fantastic animated film. I've loved it since childhood, however, i would love to see a new DVD version of this film. Video is a dead format, and I hope to see this classic brought to life in the dvd world.

Summary: One of the best non-Disney animated movies of the 80's!
Review: 'The Last Unicorn', that has a big star cast, including Mia Farrow, Jeff Bridges, and more is like 'Secret Of NIMH' not like any other typical and sweet animated movies from the 80's like 'My Little Pony', it's a dark, mystical and philosophical tale for the elder kids about The Last Unicorn that is taking out on a dramatic journey with a young wizard, and the beautyful, but tough Molly.
If you are grown tired of typical Disney movies with cute animals that sings and dance all the time, then buy the more serious toned 'The Last Unicorn', you won't be dissapointed!
