Summary: verbatim retro vinyl cd-r...great!
Review: My brother had a vintage 1940's wedding last weekend & gave these CD-Rs (with the couple's swing dancing songs recorded onto them) as wedding favors. What a hit! These are the best thing to hit the market since computer CD burning software! They have to be recorded on a computer but, other than that, they are every bit as good as all the other CD-Rs. Buy a bunch and burn all that "old 45-rpm" music you have lying around! Too cool!

Review: Not only do these CD-Rs look awesome but the sound repro quality is excellent. My copies have the same highs and lows as the original source material. Burning time was fast, too. I'll keep buying these puppies until Verbatim stops making them.

Summary: Cool BUT ...
Review: These are as cool-looking as they are in the picture above BUT, these CD-Rs will NOT record in a stand alone, home audio CD recorder. These are designed for recording on a computer.If you can get someone with a computer to burn them, then fine. But if you just own a home CD recorder like I do, it's pretty much a waste of money if you can't use them. I don't know why Amazon doesn't point this out. Always buy MUSIC CD-Rs over DATA CD-Rs if you just own a home audio CD recorder. Let's get the message out there PLEASE.

Review: To Verbatim's credit, on their website, it says:"Digital Vinyl CD-R's are only compatible for music recording on computer recorders." The look nice which is why they cost more. Verbatim does make extras labels for use with these discs and their own labeling system.
