Summary: Horrible
Review: "New Fist of Fury" was one of Jackie Chan's first movies, made before he discovered the comedy/kung fu combination that put him on the map. Being a sequel to Bruce Lee's "Fist of Fury" (aka "The Chinese COnnection), it's Jackie's only full-blown 'Bruceploitation' movie. The story involves a young wise guy who decides to help Bruce Lee's Ching Wu school in the face of the evil Japanese army. This is without a doubt the worst Jackie Chan movie I've ever seen. The dull, slow-paced plot stretches for two hours, with nary a fight scene in the first half. In addition, it contains just about the worst rip-off ending in the history of cinema.
The DVD from Beverly Wilshire Filmworks is nothing short of abomindable. The transfer used appears to be from an eighth or ninth generation VHS tape, which is murky and washed out and nearly impossible to watch in the darker scenes. There are black bars at the top and bottom of the screen to give the illusion of widescreen, but it's obvious the company just slapped bars on a pan and scan print. Worst of all, there is no menu and no chapter links. Easily the worst DVD I have ever seen.

Summary: Ouch
Review: Chan spends a long time getting his own rear end handed to him before getting shot like a little punk. Souds like a good flick, eh?

Summary: Oh, pain.
Review: Chan spends the entire film bumbling about and getting his business rocked, only to be blown away during the final scene. God......awful. The end.

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: May not be Jackie's best, but still worth your time.
Review: It may not be Drunken Master II, but it yields some good things. The training scenes and the last fight scenes are descent, but the rest of the fight scenes aren't very good. The story is interesting, but it is definitely plain to see that Lo Wei was just trying to monopolize on the legacy of Bruce Lee( by the way this was the sequel to Fist Fury a.k.a. Chinese Connection if you didn't know). It does tend to move slow, but it is cool when he uses the three section staff. If you are a true Jackie Chan fan, you'll be able to appreciate some good things about it.

Summary: New Fist Of Fury
Review: JACKIE DIES AT THE END!!!... In this film JACKIE WILL REMIND YOU OF BRUCE LEE!!!... This film is supposed to be the sequel to Bruce Lee's "Fist Of Fury". Jackie plays the brother of Bruce's character from the original film. Jackie doesn't enjoy fighting and has no interest in martial arts until a Japanese school begins to terrorize the local Chinese kung fu school. The Jackie starts to train so he can defeat the Japenese. THIS FILM IS SO BAD THAT AT THE END THIS OLD MAN FIGHTS FOR A SECOND AND DIES STANDING UP!!!... WHAT A WASTE!!!...

Summary: Not a "Jackie" movie but a Kung Fu classic!
Review: Many people have criticized this movie a bit too harshly in my opinion. It was Jackie Chan's first movie and he had no control over anything. If you compare this movie to Police Story or Drunken Master 2 you will be disappointed. It's not the Jackie you know and love. Here he plays a sullen young man with no interest in learning kung fu until he becomes fed up with the Japanese suppressing the Chinese folk. Not as much fighting as one would expect but good story and good characters make this an entertaining movie. But don't watch FOF2 while comparing it to his other films or even the original with Bruce Lee. Let it stand just as it was meant to be: a kung fu film that happens to star Jackie Chan.

Summary: DON'T DO IT!!!!!
Review: Please I beg of you save your money!!!Even Jackie Chan hates this flick!! Buy socks or underwear with the cash instead,it will be more fun!!!!If you want to see a great version of Fist of Fury, get the Jet Li version and THEN you will really have something to watch, thats a GREAT version of this script.

Summary: Aweful sequel to Fist of Fury (Chinese Connection)
Review: This is a bad bad movie, so it's not worth watching. This is Jackie Chan at his worst, well...most of his old movies are really really bad, except for "Drunken Master", "The Young Master", and "The Fearless Hyena". This is suppose to be the sequel to Bruce Lee's "Fist of Fury", but "The New Fist of Fury" would make Bruce Lee roll over in his grave.
