Summary: Some of Yuen Biao's finest
Review: I felt that Righting Wrongs is any action fan's film. It's low on plot and high on action. Yuen Biao and Cynthia Rothrock fight hard, but Karen Shepard and Melvin Wong are almost just as good. A little bloody, but lots of fun to see. The fighting and stunts are superb. You have to watch this movie.

Review: I saw this film last year at Montreal's Fant-Asia film festival. Although some of the scenes with Cynthia Rothrock were a little cheesy, overall, this was a very enjoyable movie. Yuen Biao is always fun to watch.

Summary: LUCK OF THE DRAW
Review: Just as a warning, I've heard there are 4 different versions of this film floating around. When it first came out in Hong Kong, both Rothrock and Biao get killed and since then, for the sake of a less morbid ending, other versions have been made in which Biao lives and Rothrock dies, Rothrock lives and Biao dies, and one other version in which they both live. Which edition you get is kind of pot-luck. That being said, Biao plays a lawyer out to avenge a colleague murdered by criminals and Rothrock a cop trying to stop him. The fight scene between Rothrock and Karen Sheppard is in itself reason to see this movie. Rothrock does a flying tackle on Sheppard from what looks like 40 ft. up and then both engage in a weapons fight that is a wonderfully balletic and brutal display of martial arts, although why the directors/producers insist in portraying western woman as being so butch is a mystery to me. Without using the "R" word, I suppose it makes their Asian co-stars more appealing. Questionable fashion presentations aside, this is a good if rather dark martial arts film that seems a little bit dated now, but is still a good example of the genre.

Taking the law into his own hands, he follows his own sense of "justice" and takes the criminals off the streets! Cynthia Rothrock is pretty good as the police officer chasing him down. Really amazing fight scenes!! Biao can really move!! The movie has a dark feel to it, but it's fantastic!

Summary: Yuen Biao's best movie period.
Review: This is hands down Yuen Biao's and Cynthia Rothrock's best movie! I'm not much of a fan of either of them, but this movie displays some of the best martial arts I have seen. The movie is extremely violent as well with a little gun-fu. Don't get me wrong tho, there is more hand to hand stuff here that'll get you pumped up. The story, Yuen Biao is a lawyer trying to prosecute 2 mobster-like individuals for arranging a hit on Biao's friend and his friend's family...without evidence, Biao decides to take matters in his own hands, but he is being trailed by a policewoman (Rothrock)...Biao will end up being at the wrong place at wrong time, and Rothrock will wrongfully accuse him...from then on its pretty much about finding the truth and RIGHTING WRONGS. Both Biao and Rothrock show their best stuff here and all of the fighting is clear and insanely brutal...Don't be fooled of the age of the film, a lot of classic martial arts flicks come from the 80's. Not only that, but the stunts are real here as well, and there are some crazy and awesome acrobatic moves in this film (although Rothrock doesnt really do hers). As for which version to get, I got the dual sided Universe version and Im assuming this is the original since this is a major HK dvd distributor. Either way, this movie is simply one of the best...it's definitely somewhere in my top 10 best martial arts flick...think of this movie as Michelle Yeoh's Royal Warriors with a lot more fighting and violence. The ending is quite unusual and it'll probably make you think, "Oh, it's one of those movies". Enough praise, I could go on forever...all martial arts fans should at least view this movie if not own it...check it out!!!!!!

Summary: You MUST buy this movie!
Review: This is one of the most action packed/stunt filled movies ever filmed. This film takes no prisoners, and pulls no stops, and the ending leaves you breathless. While most of Rothrock's movies are far under par, she does have a few decent HK films, this one being the best; and Yuen having his greatest fight scenes since Dragon's Forever(co-starring J. Chan). This has my vote for greatest action movie of all time!
