Rating: Summary: another side of Mr. Chan Review: Judging from the title and the plot description I wasn't expecting this to be another Jackie Chan fight/stunt fest extravaganza. After all Jackie is pushing the age towards geezer-hood (but still in pretty good shape and fighting form). So you won't see any specatacular fight sequences or death-defying action scenes. What you do get though is the side of Jackie you don't normally see. As he does get older he is resorting to his charm and humor in pleasing his audience (see Shanghai Noon). And you know what .......it works. His romantic persona is on display here and coupled with an equally appealing co-star this movie will please most. Just not the action hungry fans who catch this for just that. Tony Leung is surprisingly good as the gay make up artist who takes in Bu. And Shu Qi portrays the love-struck, naive Bu with attractiveness and an appeal missing from Hollywood's leading asian actresses. For Chan fanatics this is a movie worth checking out to find that their star is indeed more multidimensional than his pugilistic repertoire he unleashes.
Rating: Summary: Awesome! Review: The movie is perfection. It joins the action of Jackie Chan with a sweet romance. The is a movie for all to watch. You won't see a movie that touches you in such a way that this movie will. and this all star cast will keep ur interest in check. So, rent it, buy it, steal it, doesn't matter, this is just a must see and can't miss.
Rating: Summary: Jackie's first romantic comedy Review: I've seen the HK version of this and think that it isn't half bad. The fight scenes are pretty good, and Bradley James Allan is awesome too. If you ask me, the real 'gorgeous' aspect of this movie is Hsu Chi!!!
Rating: Summary: Gorgeous for sure! Review: I watched this on Starz movie channel a few months ago, and after that, watched it again every time it came on! The minute I saw it was up for preorder, I had to order it. This movie is worth the price just for the girl in it. She is so GORGEOUS-(shameless plug)! She really is beautiful. What can I say though, I love asian girls. Besides her being such eye-candy, the movie itself is great. Jackie Chan is great, as he always is. Not as much action-oriented as you may like for a Jackie Chan flik, but...the girl!
Rating: Summary: A must, I must say! Review: I have seen Jackie's latest moive. Gorgeous. It is a great movie. This is his type of romance. There are only 4 fight scenes but all of them are well thought out and performed. The only thing I found to be a little down, is that he has no big stunts in this movie. This is Jackie Stunt Man himself and no stunts. That's ok the whole movie makes up for it.
Rating: Summary: Funny, but unusual! Review: I love this movie...it's one of my favorites, and I am a big Jackie Chan fan. I like it MOSTLY because its not your typical Jackie Chan movie...it's romantic, funny, and kind of corny...perfect for a light night. I think its great.
Rating: Summary: This is the one you should hold on to. Review: This is my favorite kung fu movie because it has a lot of in depth thought on the idea of martial arts.
Basically throughout the movie Jackie Chan tries to win a fight against an american, but realizes he needs to train. He, also, finds out why he had lost in the past, and corrects it in his final fight scene.
The girl in the movie is very attractive(sp?) and very childlike.
My favorite.

Rating: Summary: Great Review: The movie was pretty funny when C.N. fought his opponent and they both knocked eachother out. The most funniest part was C.N's bestfriend's character. Also, I read other viewer's review and they thought Buu was so annoying, well, I didn't think she was, she was more like a home girl who was discovering what the city life is like in Hong Kong, which was funny sometimes.
Rating: Summary: AWESOME AT SOME POINTS Review: This movie wasn't that great but it was a good Jackie Chan movie. Jackie Chan stars as a buisnessman named C.N. in this movie. You can skip the first 30 minutes nothing really happens. That girl C.N. likes in the movie is annoying. The fight scene with the bats is awesome. He takes 4 bats from 4 people. Some people would have got one or two but C.N. got all of them.
I like the fight scene with that small guy named Alen that was hired by C.N.'s best friend to defeat him. Well his friend didn't want him killed but he knew C.N. was going to get defeated and he wanted to show him that he has to get back into training instead of buying stocks all the time. There is really no enemies in this movie. Nobody really tries to kill anyone. There are no guns, blood, or knives in this movie. When C.N. and Alen fight they use boxing gloves. When Alen first beats C.N. he asks him if he's okay. There is no bad language. This movie could've been rated PG.
The second fight between Alen and C.N. is really cool. Alen is kind of like that guy from Legend of Drunken Master that can move his foot really fast. It last for 8 minutes but im not going to tell you what happens.
There are many special features including a 30 MINUTE MAKING OF FEATURETTE, a 4 minute music video, A commentary by Jackie Chan, and talent files.
OVERALL- a neat movie with 3 great action scenes, good because Jackie Chan is in it. If you play it in English Jackie doesn't even dubb his own voice. Good for any Jackie Chan collection.
Rating: Summary: Very good story Review: It has been a while since I saw this but the store as well as the fight scenes are great. I don't remember that many fight scenes but the last one was cool.
