Rating: Summary: Great as the first rush! Review: I finally saw the second rush, and it was great including the cast: Jackie Chan, Chris Tucker, John Lone, Alan King, Roselyn Sanchez, Harris Yulin, and Zhang Ziyi, including that Jackie Chan, and Chris Tucker was nominated for "Best Fight," with the Hong Kong Gang, for the 2002 MTV Movie Awards, I even liked the outtakes. I give it 5 stars.
Rating: Summary: More action and drama than before Review: I liked the movie very much. I thought it was better than the first one because it has more action scenes and some drama to it. I especially liked the scenes with Chris Tucker.
Rating: Summary: ALMOST as good as the original Review: James Carter (Chris Tucker), and L.A. cop, teams up once again with Inspector Lee (Jackie Chan) in this sequel to the blockbuster, "Rush Hour". While having vacation in mind, Lee and Carter come in contact with a triad bigwig and a huge ring of counterfeit. Now it's time for the action to begin all over the city of Hong Kong.Just like the original, "Rush Hour 2" is successful in being both hilarious and action packed at the same time. As always, Jackie Chan is here to do his own jaw-dropping fights and stunts (no stuntman needed!), and Chris Tucker is back once again as the pride-driven man with hilarious line after hilarious line. There's no doubt about it, if you enjoyed the duo of action and comedy that "Rush Hour" had to offer, then you can't miss out on "Rush Hour 2"! I never once thought about doing anything else while I was watching this GREAT sequel. It's ALMOST a 5-star movie and it's hot on the heels of the original, but it's not QUITE as good. My only big complaint is that there were too many jokes and lines about racial issues. Other than that, this movie is awesome.
Rating: Summary: Look out for Jacky! Review: I think Rush Hour 2 was funny.I think the best part of the movie was Jacky Chan doing all the stunts. It's sweet how he uses stunts to get away from enemies.
Rating: Summary: So glad I rented this one... Review: I really enjoyed Rush Hour, and at the urging of my 13 year old son, I rented Rush Hour 2. Usually the sequel to a good movie is not nearly as good as the original. Don't expect anything different here. This was really a two-star movie, but I threw in an extra star for Jackie Chan's great fight scenes -- particularly with that girl from Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon. The fight scenes were definitely worth the 4-day rental at the video store. Besides the fight scenes, though, this movie has very little going for it: Don Cheadle's performance was wonderful -- all five minutes of it. Chris Tucker's Michael Jackson impression was so stupid that it was laughable -- so I guess that part was kind of entertaining too. The outtakes at the end are much funnier than the movie itself. Two thumbs up on those outtakes. Overall, though, Rush Hour 2 has not much to offer... No real plot, no character development, no class. No kidding.
Rating: Summary: It was good, but not as good as the original. Review: It's almost painful to watch Jackie Chan's movies nowadays. Don't get me wrong, the man hasn't lost one step upstairs, and he's still hilarious. It's just that, having been a longtime fan ever since my uncle took me down to Chinatown to rent Police Story 3 when I was 8, I've noticed the decline in his agility. He can't move as well as he used to, and that's a shame. Still, he can do more now at age 48 than most people can do in their teens and 20s. Anyways, I enjoyed this movie. I'm a bigtime Chris Tucker fan (he'll always be Smokey to me), and he wrings every last laugh out of the script, especially at the craps table. That "$500 chips" bit was priceless. I'm figuring that Brett Ratner, after having raised the bar with "The Family Man", felt he was due for a little nap and let the movie run on auto-pilot. Didn't really matter much... the Tucker-Chan chemistry was always the draw, and when you get those two together, it's like printing money. It's not like anyone went to see "Rush Hour 2" saying, "Oh, look, it's the new Brett Ratner film!" Interesting note, though. When I went to see this movie, everyone in the theater was cracking up when Chris Tucker made jokes at the expense of Lee's stoicism and Asian culture. But when Jackie laid out that "I'll bitchslap you back to Africa" line, the whole theater went silent. Nobody was sure whether to laugh or not. Ah, white guilt, I love it. So, in a nutshell, this movie was slick and entertaining, the fights were good enough, and Zhang Ziyi was superfine as always. Recommended.

Rating: Summary: An Awesome DVD Review: A very funny movie on DVD with great sound, picture, and a lot of extras.
Rating: Summary: Not As Good As 1 - But Good Too! Review: Chris Tucker and Jackie Chan are back again. This one has a weaker story than the first, but some great female fighting. The mean guys are really evil and the action sequences fun and exciting. The DVD extras include a tour of Hong Kong with Jackie himself and the commentary of working with him and how nice he can be and is. This is a good adition to your collection - espcially if uou have the first one. Just to watch Chan and Tucker is worth!
Rating: Summary: If You Haven't Seen This, RUSH To Your Local Blockbuster Review: Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker absolutely tear it up in this heavily awaited sequel to the smash hit "Rush Hour" I've been a huge Jackie Chan fan for years now and while I like his pure kung-fu films better, usually, I must say that this movie is one of the most overall entertaining movies ever. This movie has got everything, from action to comedy to a good storyline to suspense to.....you name it. Also, Chris Tucker is hilarious in this movie, pulling in his funniest and most memorable performance to date. There are some crazy stunts as usual and the movie also stars Zang Ziyi (Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon) who I love as well. Overall, this movie has everything you could want in a Saturday night flick. Also, the dvd is loaded with extras including deleted scenes and outtakes. This is an absolute must have for any action, comedy or Jackie Chan fan. Pick it up today!
