Summary: when is the 3 movie coming out
Review: Brett Ratner clings to this series almost as much as Chris Tucker does. Ratners other then directing the previous two and upcoming third Rush Hour movie has a rather skimpy resume, which includes: Red Dragon (the best of the Hannibal Lecter movies) and Money Talks, starring, you guessed it, Chris Tucker. By no means necessary am I saying Ratner is a one trick pony; he just hasn't tried to hard to prove the notion wrong.

Jackie Chan was Jackie Chan. Fun to watch, entertaining, made the movie, and had a few witty lines that made the movie enjoyable. Jackie is an actor where you know what you are going to get. Chris Tucker was brilliant, though he should be when he makes one movie every three or four years (five years between Rush Hour 2 and his next movie....Rush Hour 3). I've read that he has priced himself (he wants Jim Carey/Tom Hanks money for every movie he is in) out of the market, and has to beg Jackie and Ratner to keep making these movies.

Ziyi Zhang (House of the Flying Daggers, Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon) makes a guest appearance as the villain. Her boot connects with Tuckers mouth on more then a few occasions. Roselyn Sanchez, 34, (Basic, Captain Ron, Boat Trip) stars as an under cover secret service agent that makes both Jackie and Tucker drool.

Rush Hour 2 is a must have in your DVD collection. It is extremely fun, entertaining, may have a questionable plot, but the story keeps you interested. I enjoy watching this movie every time it is on. I am sure the upcoming sequel will be fun also, as Tucker's one-liners are brilliant, and no ones action scenes are more creative then Chan's.

Summary: Motor mouth Chris, there ya go again!!
Review: Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker do it again! The theme is predictable since it belongs to the same mold as Rush Hour. I consider the first installment better than this but that doesn't stop the viewer to have loads of fun watching Chris Tucker's motor mouth and Jackie Chan's fluid action. Chris' fast paced delivery coupled with his facial expressions is of course the highlight...the real comical stuff comes from him. There are a lot of jokes with racial references, but personally I don't think one should consider it in bad taste. In fact, it's woven well into the overall humorous fabric of the movie. One and a half hours of non stop fun...worth buying!!

(The only reason I give 4 stars is because, in comparison, Rush Hour was slightly better).

Summary: Don't take offense...
Review: This was really a very crappy movie. I tried to give it a chance, but I ended up twiddling my thumbs and whistling the Charles in Charge theme.
Maybe it's my hatred for "buddy comedies" (like that one with Owen Wilson and Mr. Chan-- "A Not Funny Take on the West"...), but this movie sucks ballsacks. I first noticed this when Chris Tucker spoke, then the plot began to unfurl, yet Chris Tucker kept speaking. The crappy jokes didn't help it along, either. Usually, when you mix action and comedy, you come out with a quivering, inbred form of entertainment. I think you'll see what I mean when Taxi comes out.

I know, it's harsh but it's true. And don't shoot the messenger; the messenger of common sense.

Summary: Terrific High energy sequel is GREEN!
Review: Not satisfied to just build on the personalities and chemistry created in Rush Hour -RH1, this action movie delivers an inventive script and great action. I would have given 5 stars but I down grade for language.

Chris Tucker delivers another high energy, comedic performance. Since Chris first caught my attention in the Bruce Willis vehicle, Fifth Element. He has proven himself to be a real comedy - action star. This movie might have worked with a different actor playing chans part, but jackie chan is the genious that created these incredible films and may now be our top action star.

Highly recommended, but only partially family friendly.
