Rating: Summary: have not seen it but cant wait Review: OH U BETTER BELIEVE IT IS GOING TO BE AN AWESOME MOVIE JASON AND FREEDY ARE GOING TO TEAR IT UP. BUT I WISH IT WOULD OF BEEN MICHAEL MEYERS AND JASON INSTEAD. I HOPE THERE IS A LOT OF SLASHING IN THIS FLICK. THE ONE THING I DO NOT LIKE IS THAT THEY GOT KELLY ROWLAND IN THAT MOVIE. RAPPERS AND R&B ARTIST HAVE NO BUSINESS IN HORROR MOVIES...BUT HEY I HOPE THIS MOVIE TEARS IT UP.
Rating: Summary: Freddy Vs Jason Review: I Have Seen all of the Friday The 13th and Elm Street Series. Let's face the facts. Jason Is Much Stronger Than Freddy, He is way bigger and taller than freddy, And Jason Is IMORTAL!!!!!. Jason Is going to kick the ... out of freddy!!!!!!!!!!!
Rating: Summary: Was bound to happen Review: What made Nightmare on Elm Street interesting...it had a decent enough plot. What made Friday the Thirteenth fun is that it did not care to develop a plot. Not until number nine--which was an awful mistake. I did not see number ten because it did not seem to follow the other movies...no plot to the series, but it just happened to connect each movie in some way. Number nine ended--and fans have been waiting for 'Freddy vs. Jason' ever since. I guess there is no common sense between this movie...my guess is that they will somehow connect the characters...and probably in an effort to make the story work, several of the other films in the two series will be like they never existed. But if one paid attention to Wes Craven's explanation of Freddy Krueger in 'New Nightmare', then it is time for a new Freddy movie. Or Freddy--an ancient demon--will find his way into the real world. Ignore the stupidity of the idea. Ignore the critics. See the movie--a publicity stunt if nothing else.
Rating: Summary: FREDDY VS JASON??!! HELL YEAH! Review: Freddy Kreuger fighting Jason Voorhees! What more is there to say? Although if I were to make the movie, I would have made Jason finally kill Freddy and then at the very last second you see a knife go though Jason's back and you see Michael Myers standing behind jason whie the Halloween theme begins playing!
Rating: Summary: Just Kill Them Both Review: For over twenty years these two have been ran in to the ground. Why don't they just kill them already it is getting pretty stupid by now. Come on do they think we still enjoy this [junk]. I liked the first couple of movies but it's getting very easy to tell what is going to happen. Unless Freddy has a girlfriend and they are going to the woods he is pretty safe. By the time they finish Jason off he will be in a wheelchair what is he like 100 by now. I guess they will be fighting with their canes in the next movie.
Rating: Summary: would you rather stay awake or fall asleep? Rating: Summary: This isn't suppose to be scary David J Heinrich! Review: David J Heinrich simply doesn't get it. This movie is not suppose to be scary or suspenseful, it's an action flick. We all know Freddy had one good (scary) movie and that was the first Nightmare on Elm Street. Jason had 4, but the 1st one was scary, that was before they tired out the formula. They aren't going for scary this time., They are just out to make a fun movie for fans to see. We all know Freddy had the scarier movie, but Jason is stronger so he'll definately win, because he doesn't quit, unlike Freddy. Jason is gonna win. The next match Jason vs. Michael Myers, followed by Jason vs. Leatherface, followed by Jason vs. The Creeper. GO JASON GO!
Rating: Summary: The slasher battle of the year is about to take place! Review: I've seen most of the Nightmare on Elm Street movies, but not all of them and I've seen every Friday the 13th movie. I'd have to say that both were really awesome and I've always wanted to see these two duke it out. Finger blades and burnt face against machete and hockey mask. I think Jason Vorhees is better though. GO JASON!!!!
Rating: Summary: You have got to be joking Review: Ok, let me check. Yep, still true. The last Nightmare on Elmstreet and Friday the 13th really really really sucked. In fact, the last half of ... So, how exactly is this movie going to be any good? Quite frankly, with stuff out there like "The Ring", "Final Destination", and even the thriller "Jurassic Park", these films seem old and dated. Oh wait, that's because they are old and dated. There's only so much you can do with one idea, and the idea for each of these -- not that there was ever much creativity behind Friday the 13th -- has been squeezed out of them. Most people know to quit when they're ahead. After the embarassing Jaws 3 and 4 sequels, they decided to call it quits. I'd hope that after the latest shameful outing of Jurassic Park -- Jurassic Park 3, which had neither the suspense and plot of the original, nor the action-packed fun of the 2nd -- that there won't be another Jurassic Park movie. We might have *finally* seen the last of the tired boogey-man Michael Myers (shouldn't he be like some middle-aged serial-killer now, over the hump?). But, apparently, we have to be put through another NOES and FT3 movie. Worse yet, they're going to combine them into one movie, which makes no sense. And they're, apparently, going to be fighting with eachother, over ?domination of hell? Wow, how stupid is that. The prospect of horror can be forgotten, and we can look forward to about an hour of two maniacal child-killers who love killing naked kids having sex, slashing and hacking at eachother, to little or no avail. That's one plot scenario that I've seen floating around. The other plot scenario -- incidentally, the only other possible plot scenario -- is equally stupid and boring. They both team up to kill naked kids having sex. Not that another sequel to either of these movies would necessarily be a bad thing. But a joint sequel will necessarily [stink], and only attract mindless zealots. For any sequel to either of these movies to be worth watching, it will either have to clean up all of the mangled plot-lines of previous sequels (something which may take so long that by the time that's done, there's no movie left), or simply ignore all of the sequels, or at least the sequels which really sucked. The only other possibility to make a worthwhile movie would be to make a prequel. This could be done for NOES, and might even make for a worthwhile film to watch. Since FT3 part 1 was basically a prequel to FT3 part 2, I don't see how you can make a prequel for FT3. In any event, should this undeserving movie ever get off the ground, it is sure to [stink] worse than sequels either of the two 'originals' has ever [stunk] before. I put 'originals' in quotes, because FT3 was in no way original, but simply a different twist on Halloween, minus the suspense.
