Review: Ronin is a complete package of a movie with a great soundtrack, intriguing plot, fantastic acting, and the best car chases in recent memory. The location in the beautiful provincial towns of France is just the icing on the cake. That is why this is the next best movie of 1998, next to Saving Private Ryan. A very close second, that is.

Review: Ronin was one of the years biggest hits. The cast with Robert De Niro and Jean Reno could not be faultered. This film has something for most however those inclined to the action genre will love it. The car chases I have to admit are better than the classic Italian Job and this film oozes with style. The story is so polished that you can see your face in it. A positive topper of a flick. If you like action films this is THE must buy of the year.

Review: For actionophiles it is a must as it has very good sequences and good locations. DeNiro is as good as he's going to get in a movie of this sort. The prinicpal reason this movie should be seen is that is has one of the three best car chases ever filmed and is a tribute to Frankenheimer mastery of this genre.
