Summary: Great Movie- aand please stop beating up on R
Review: The World is Not Enough was very good. I wouldn't say it is the best, but it isabove average (much better than Tommarow Never Dies). I loved all the actions seens, with my favorite being the parahawks. pierce brosnan is one of my favorite bonds, right next to sean connery. I think he did a great job. In fact, everyone did a great job in TWINE - except Denise Richards. Yeah, she's pretty, but c'mon, she can't act! Q's departure was very touching, and I don't know how others looked upon R, but it seemed to me the he was supposed to be comical and not live up to Q's standards.

Although I think Thunderball, From Russia with Love, Goldfinger, Dr. No, You only live Twice, and Goldeneye were better, you won't be dissapointed if you buy The World Is Not Enough.

Summary: action packed Bond film
Review: Who cares if Denise Richards can't act; this is a James Bond movie, not Gone with the Wind. Check out the opening sequence---there's a way kool speedboat chase.

Summary: Good, but predictable
Review: This movie, was, in the tradition of Bond movies, a thriller. However, I could tell exactly what was going to happen next.

Summary: Garbage?
Review: The title song is performed by Garbage.

So is the rest of this movie ...

Summary: Better a Lesser Bond Then None At All
Review: Surely not the best Pierce Brosnan Bond effort (check out "Goldeneye" for that), "The World is Not Enough" is hampered by poorly staged action sequences, hackneyed plotting and somewhat humor-free dialogue.

It also wins the award, hands-down, for the most (unintentionally) laughable Bond-Girl performance ever from Denise Richards, who really does seem to think she's in a serious drama.

Still, Sophie Marceau proves a riveting counterpoint (her scenes with Brosnan are amongst the film's best) and the conclusion is as sky-high ridiculous as one could hope for.

Of special note to diehard Bond fans is the opening credit sequence - it's truly dazzling, and includes a killer vocal track by Garbage lead singer, Shirley Manson - along with a whimsical and fitting goodbye to a longtime Bond character.

Summary: ZOWIE! WOW, what a show and DVD
Review: Wow, those are the words that express my admiration for the people that put this DVD together. There is not one, but two screen specific commentaries to accompany this 19th 007 outing. I found the comments of the movie crew particularly enlighterning. There is also a "making of..." featurette and several trailers. The movie itself shows that Pierce Brosnan has finally hit his stride as the worlds favorite secret agent. After the dark Goldeneye and the tedious Tomorrow Never Dies, Brosnan comes through in an adventure that is more character driven and intelligent than any other previous adventure. For once the Bond series truly has a well acted, sophisticated and three dimensional women in the lovely shape of the amazing French actress Sophie (Braveheart) Marceau. (Denise Richards does nothing to improve the image of Bond girls, but she's a secondary character and doesn't seem to really take her role that seriously). There are a number of plot twists to this outing, and some truly jaw-dropping action scenes...I recommend this DVD wholeheartedly

Summary: Highly Entertaining
Review: 'The World Is Not Enough' is an absolutely fantastic movie. I brought this video from amazon.com when it had to be pre ordered. It only took 12 days to arrive from America to New Zealand. Thats not bad considering the distance it had to travel. It was in great condition too! I had been looking forward to seeing the movie again and then I was able to buy it before it was out for rental in New Zealand. I was extremely happy and soo were my friends.

Well Worth Buying!

Summary: Traditional James Bond... It was Great.
Review: I think Pierce Brosnan makes as good of a "Bond" man as any in the past. I hope to see him make several more before being replaced. "Q's" replacement better improve before the next movie. I'll miss Q, but it was a Great James Bond movie. I'm glad to have this one in my collection.

Summary: The World Is Not Enough - Sleep!
Review: I got VERY disappointed. One pretty woman, one almost pretty. All the rest about the movie is boring, so prepare for a good sleep.
