Summary: Good, but not as good as others
Review: I have only recently (Within the Pierce Brosnan era) become a James Bond fan.

I liked this movie quite a lot, but I liked the ones previous to this one better. The big dissapointment for me was that I was expecting them to have some kind of great car chase seen in this movie somewhere seeing as how they had a great car in it. Unfortunatly, the car gets chopped in half after doing nothing more spectacular than driving down a wooden dock. It was sad.

That was the only thing I didn't really like. As I said earlier, I liked the other James Bond movies better, but this is still a great movie.

Summary: Sad.
Review: This is definitely not the best James Bond movie out there. I was sad after watching the movie at how lame it was. Pierce Brosnan was smooth and suave, as always. Sophie Marceau did exactly what she was suppose to do. But Denise Richards took this movie and flushed it right down the toilet with her sorry acting ability. Her movements and lines were to slow and jagged for the pace of the movie. A team is only as strong as its weakest link, as that includes the big screen. She put a hurting on the potential that this movie had. Also, this is the last movie that the respected Q is in due to his death.

Summary: Great addition to the Bond legend
Review: I still think Sean Connery was the best James Bond, but Pierce Brosnan is a close second. And not just because they're both so extremely good looking.

Brosnan plays Bond so naturally that you'd think he was the character--which, of course, is one of the things one looks for in an actor. Very, very well played.

As for the plot...as usual, not entirely believable. But it shouldn't be; that would take all the fun out of it. It was always exciting, never predictable, with plenty of foreign spies and side-switching girls for good measure. Never a dull moment.

Supporting cast--I would just like to say how much I love Judi Dench! Great portrayal of M. Although 'Q' is dead (an extreme loss), John Cleese should make a wonderful R. I've always secretly wanted to see him in a Bond film. The only disappointment was the casting of Denise Richards. The woman CANNOT ACT! However, that was the only poor choice in a truly excellent movie.

Summary: Well done, 007
Review: The World Is Not Enough is the best, most original Bond movie to be released since For Your Eyes Only, and is one of the best ever made. While I admit that the Bonds do have a rather formulaic approach, and that this can restrain the creativity of the actors and directors, that approach is the reason that Bond is the most successful movie character of all time - if you don't like the formula, then don't watch James Bond!

That said, TWINE is an excellent movie. The plot is original and pertinent to today's world. The acting is exceptional for a Bond film (except for the rather too bland Denise Richards). The extras packed into the DVD are among the best you will find anywhere. And, most importantly, the overall movie experience is extremely satisfying. I highly recommend this movie.

Summary: The World is Too Confused
Review: This Bond flick has all the substance but a weak plot line. Besides being implausible, its confusing. But the movie does have some great Bond scenes. See the flick for the scenes, don't concentrate on it making sense and you will have your Bond fix.

Summary: Made For the Theater
Review: First let me note that unless you have a VERY large screen TV with a great speaker system, this movie WILL NOT be as good at home as it was in the movie theater. Seeing James Bond in action on the big screen with surround sound really sets the mood and puts you in the movie. Boy was I dissapointed to see it on video. But, I felt that the theater offering was up there with Brosnan's other Bond movies Goldeneye and Tommorow Never Dies. This one met expectations and really helped Pierce Brosnan's reputation as James Bond as he portrayed a darker more serious Bond which is a welcomed change in my opinion. Yes, there are many exciting stunts and chases, except for the ski chase. Close your eyes when you see it as it is one of the worst chase scenes I have ever seen. Huge explosions and gunmen missing Brosnan left and right. It's laughable actually. Stomach that scene and I have no major complains with the rest of the movie. The boat chase, while definatly not the best chase scene ever, was both exciting and humorous and a great way to start the film. The World is Not Enough is a must see for Bond fans.

Summary: The World Is Not Enough
Review: The World Is Not Enoughis the 19th Bond film in the series. This film is a mixture of Action, Explosions, Stunts and Humor. Pierce Brosnan acts as secret agent James Bond 007. First Golden Eye, then Tomorrow Never Dies, now The World Is Not Enough. His performance in all the films is excellent.

His stunts are good especially the Boat Stunts in the river, Skiing Stunts across the snow mountains are the best in TWINE. The film is directed by Michael Apted. The photography is good. The script is excellent. The movie takes up the speed with the help of bond's action. More intelligence is used to write the script. But The World Is Not Enough is an excellent movie for Action Lovers. You can mail me at arunjeevi@yahoo.com

Summary: Unless You're a Big bond Fan, Don 't See It
Review: This was a ridiculous Bond film that used women as objects, he had sex with 3 boring characters during the course of this movie! The sex jokes finally have gotten tiresome. The action was good, but certainly not great, though there were a couple of very cool, ridiculous moments, for which I will give it one more star. The idea of someone getting stronger everyday, because of being shot in the head is about as stupid as any idea that I've ever heard for a villain in my life. I personally liked Tomorrow Never Dies. It had pretty good action as well, and it was funny, and had a badguy that was a lot cooler that this Renard. If the reason you like Bond is just for the sex scenes, enjoy. If you have a decent reason to want to watch a film, don't even bother.
