Summary: great action suspense movie!!!
Review: a great action,suspense movie with slater,freeman and quaid at each others throats. Freeman steals a million plus from Slater in his armoured car. Then they flip back and forth with where is the money. Betty White is in this movie as well.The one problem is they could of cut out some of the cussing!!!if you have a great DVD player the sound effects will rock your house away in the flood!!Hard Rain was first called "The Flood" before the Studio(paramount) changed it to "Hard Rain"!!!

Review: Absolutely awful. Poor script, plot and acting was stagey. It looked more like a Jr. High School play rather than a full length feature film. Christian and Morgan are two great actors but you couldn't tell in this chaotic mess. Skip it and save your money.

Review: An unusal setting elevates a routine script. Great action sequences. Quaid is especially good as a town sherriff who smells an oppurtunity at real money and attempts to seize it. The scene with Slater in the flooding jail cell is still intense.

Review: begins good put the end with Quaid is sorta a letdown but all throughtout its a hell of a ride with Slater running back and forth being chased by Freeman and his 3 henchmen after his uncle got killed(Edward Asner) and then he has to deal with Driver's safety and then Quaid and his pals and they all want the same thing. the bags full of money. the flood sequences are the best with all the rising water and the fires and the gunplay. Solomon directs a nice flood thriller.

Review: christian slater looked damn fine in this movie. The plot was a bit thin but although not one of slaters strongest roles he did make his character come to life in this tale. If you haven't seen this film do as it is a easy story to follow. Have fun.

Review: first i want to start off by saying that i love christian slater and i thought this was a great movie...however, there were a few things that i thought were kinda lame, mostly some of the lines...like when the sheriff (i am at a loss for his name at the moment, Randy Quaid's character) says something about eating ... for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and then says that from now on everything will be ... free, that was pretty lame...it sounded like something that sounded good at three in the morning when everyone was getting a little giddy around the table and everything that was said either sounded good or to hilarious to pass up, ya know? also, something else that has been bothering me...when the one guy quotes a song..."at night we go down to the river and into the river we dive"? remember that? well, that song was not sung by springsteen (i dont think i spelled his name right, forgive me), it was sung by billy joel, trust me, my friend used to have a thing for billy joel and i had to listen to it day and night! lol...anyway, thats just my opinion, i think people should make own opinion about everything, so see "hard rain" and make up your own mind, i thought it was great, you may not, but it may turn out to be your favorite movie, you never know where it may take you! thanks for your time. :o)

Summary: one of my favorite movies
Review: great movie,great acting,good length of time. this movie has it all although it is action/suspence it has good acting. little hint for ya if a movie has a really flashy 3d like cover the movie is nothing more than an 90 miniute piece of junk. but if it has a average looking cover and is into the 100s in time lenght you got a good movie. i would definitly buy this movie.

Summary: The most reallistic acton I have seen.
Review: Hard Rain I thought was a great move over all. I espcialy like in the end where one of the bad guys do get some money. I though the sherif would be a little smarter and take the money and go instead of waiting there shooting, but I guess if he did that the movie would have ended right there. For a rated R movie it was not that bad well by that I mean there was no nudity, but there was bad words and violence. I think I would recomend this movie because of how people swich different side in the movie, but the main charcter in the move always stayed on the side of good through out the movie. I though the old man and the old lady were funny because they were always arguing I almost every seen except the one were there floating on a log. The reason I think this movie has realistic action is because the way when the guns shot the screen moved and it made it seem reallistic. I wonder how they shot that movie in all that water that there was I mean that was a huge amount of water. There was aleast enought water to drive some boats in. This is a movie I would recomend to anyone who likes action and movies that has a good plot this movie is for you.
