Summary: Take The Time To Watch A superb Film
Review: For all the critics that said the film was terrible, well....i strongly disagree. This movie may not have a great plot (its like any other comet movie)but it does have outstanding special effects, its humorous (you wont see that in Deep Impact) It is emotional (a real tear-jerker at the end) and overall, it is excellent. And for all the people that turned it off after ten minutes, you made a huge mistake.

Summary: A great movie with a bit of everthing
Review: This is a movie that I feel has a bit to appeal to most movie goers. It contains some classic one liners, a bit of a love story, and a great feel good ending. Like most of these types of movies, there are some unbelievable feats, but the overall package soon makes you overlook those. I class this as one of the most enjoyable pictures that I have seen.

Review: No, Captain, there's no sign of intelligent life here, but who really cares? As far as action, special effects, histrionics, clever (but not too clever) humor, this film packs a punch. Sure, you notice it's none to bright, but the characters and the action are so entertaining that it really doesn't matter. Keeps ya from being bored!

Review: I love the movie. The love of a father and boyfriend as always a overprotected father in these cases. The combined team of the boyfriend and father makes me hope maybe a day will come when these two important poeple in my life will join together. This movie is funny, thrilling, exciting, and softhearted. Couldn't stop watching this film and now I think I'll have to buy it for myself. If the rate of the video was higher I would give it the highest rate possible.

Summary: The best Scientific fiction movie that I have ever seen
Review: This is a fast-pace movie and the producer did not waste a single minute in the entire movie. Great action and great emotion design. My son and I love this movie very much. But my geologist husband refused to see the movie, it is because just like the opening of the movie: "It happened before, it will happen again". The potential termination of the mankind does make us feel bad. Hey, but what can you say, this is natural. Nature created mankind, nature may create something else that might better fit the new environment other than mankind... ok, I don't want to start a flame here. Overall, this is an excellen movie if you love action, if you are not afraid to the reality - we may get "totaled" any time! My attidute is enjoy every single minute that you have! Enjoy the movie!

Review: I had a chance to see both Deep Impact and Armageddon in the theater. Though Deep Impact tends to be more focused on the people fighting to save themselves, Armageddon puts its money where it really counts...on the people fighting to save everyone else.You can't watch this movie and expect it to be down-to-the-letter realistic. No cosmic-impact movie up to this point is. But following the course of the movie, stereotypes and all, was an entertaining and stimulating experience. For sheer entertainment value, Armageddon is a roller-coaster ride not to be missed. Just remember as you watch, though, what Charlton Heston says so solemnly at the beginning. Asteroids and comets have hit us before...They will hit us again...It's only a matter of when...

Summary: To me this movie was literaly the BOMB.
Review: This movie was great.It was one of the most romantic and action packed movies that I've seen this year.There were not to many explosions if you ask me.The suspense of if the team would get off of the meteor before Jack blew it up was unbearable.The best thing was it had romance,action,suspense, and real life problems all mixed together for one hell of a movie.

Summary: Slick... but dumb.
Review: If you are one of those lucky people who can suspend ALL disbelief during a movie and check your brain at the door, then you'd probably love Armageddon. It's a reasonably fast-paced action/disaster flick, with some good humor and a great cast. However, if you demand even the tiniest sliver of realism, you'll pass out from hyperventilating at the constant breaking of every rule of physics known to humankind. Also, the character stereotypes get a bit deep at times.
