Summary: The most over rated over hyped film in history.
Review: If you are looking for a boring three hour waste of time this is your film. Romantic- I think not- this is a film that features character so bland and tiresome that after an hour you will find yourself praying for an ice burg or a nuclear bomb or something to put these tiresome people out of your misery. This film is another example of a Hollywood movie that uses special effects in pace of good writing and character. But I lack the energy to list all of this films bad traits- let it suffice to say that my favorite part was leaving the theatre. If you allowed the option of voting 0 stars I would have done so.

Summary: One of the best movies I have ever seen!
Review: "Titanic" blew me away when I first saw it in the theaters. I wasn't expecting much from it, but I was very wrong. It surpassed even "Braveheart", another of my favorite movies. James Cameron was the only person capable of creating a masterpiece like this. The special effects were the best yet, except the ones in "The Phantom Menace". The romance between Rose and Jack was very interesting, funny and tragic at the same time. And yeah, I liked it when Kate Winslet took off her clothes in that one scene. Leonardo DiCaprio surprised me; I didn't really care much for him until this movie. He was actually pretty good, as were all of the characters, even Billy Zane. The best part of all, of course, was when the Titanic sank. Another reviewer complained that the sinking took way too long. Well, that's probably how it really happened. Titanic didn't immediately sink into the water as soon as it struck the iceberg. It took several hours for it to completely disappear under the ocean. The music was wonderful; James Horner, who also composed the music for "Aliens" and "Braveheart", is one of the best composers, along with John Williams. I even liked the Celine Dion song, "My Heart Will Go On". Anyone who hates this movie should get a life. This movie deserved every Oscar it got. I wish Kate Winslet had gotten the Best Actress award, though. Oh, well. Can't wait to get it on DVD.

Review: I loved it. Wonderful acting, perfect setting, even great background music!

Summary: Buy it only if you are 14 years old
Review: Hmm...so you would think that a movie that costs 300 million to make would be worth the $7 buck you pay to watch it, but what do you find instead ? Titanic is a movie that is made for teenagers ( especially young women ). The acting is terrible, the script is weak and the editing is horrible. The only good thing that could be said about the movie is that the special effects are good. I guess it's a good couples movie, other then that don't waste the money.

Summary: Unrealistic!!
Review: Yeah, the boat did sink. But did the writers of this movie even think about the other people who died? The husbands and lovers of more than two days? OK, so this girl meets this guy, knows she's eternally in love with him after two hours or so. Then when she dies, after a real marrage, children, and grandchildren, she returns to her one night stand. Yup. This is a movie for all the 12-14 year old girls utterly infatuated with Leo D. It's yet another movie glorifying false ideas and putting them in girls' heads, teaching them that infatuation or one night stand = love. OK, off my soap box.

Summary: With the curve of his camera, James made it a masterpiece
Review: All said it could have gone down like the title subject, the real Titanic ship. Nope, the movie proved to stay a float for more than 14 weeks in a row--consider that to be a record. Consider all of the behind-the-scenes disasters; the 200 million dollar plus budget for example was nothing predicted by director, James Cameron but he had a dream and he followed through with outstanding, masterful results.

With the swooping camera, James made a true masterpiece for all ages to enjoy. Most critical people have yet to realize it's beauty and grace--not to point fingers but the movie does have 'heart', it does have 'flaws in script' but for the sake of entertainment, try not to look at this movie for those certain problems and watch it for enjoyment. Only then will you discover how much a masterpiece it is--the film that is definetly on the same wave-length, and deserves the same amount of credit as 'Gone With the Wind'.

Two--or if I had another set of hands, four thumbs up from me to this extremely excellent, once in a lifetime phenomenon.

Buy it now...keep the interest of Titanic alive. Make this film a part of you DVD and VHS collection.

Summary: A piece of history...
Review: Its the most expensive movie ever made and you can notice it.Everything is detailed as it actually was.But the two things i hated about this movie was 1.Leonardo DiCaprio and 2.That annoyng theme song(My heart will go on). Those are the only two reasons why teenage girls liked this movie.Leo cant act and the song was annoying.Hollywood doesnt care for acting anymore,it wants "I cant act but i look good" actors so that teenage girls can drool after them.I just hate that a historical drama like this became some goddamn teenage pop icon,THAT i hate.Without those two elements this would have been a great movie.

Summary: A great movie with a perfect balance of action and romance.
Review: In a movie such as this, only James Cameron could do it justice. The storyline follows one of the most haunting disasters in the history of sea travel, and for that reason, everything had to be perfect and it was. The special effects are unparalleled, and the intricacy of the story only exemplifies the rest of the good points of the movie.

Summary: This is a great first-time DVD!
Review: This is an all-around great DVD. With Dolby Digital and Scene Selections, it is great! I have watched this on my computer alot lately, and it never gets old! Leo and Kate are great and they are super actors. Cool DVD! Don't go into scene selection and choose, "The Drawing"! If you know what I mean!
