Summary: Good, but not great...
Review: I thought TITANIC was a decent movie overall and I have to give credit to all the people who put so much energy into creating it. The movie is certainly not without its flaws though, most notably the ending when DiCaprio doesn't have the sense to find his own piece of broken ship to float on like Kate. He sure seemed to know a lot about life while he was on the ship, but OOPS, just one small oversight when you're in the FREEZING Atlantic. The high point in my opinion was the music. James Horner has always been a favorite of mine and his music made a mediocre movie much more dramatic and bearable to watch. A five star movie=BRAVEHEART, SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, SCHINDLER'S LIST, LEGENDS OF THE FALL, etc...

Summary: Weak......
Review: I seen the movie and believe that it had a very weak story line between Kate and Leo. It was all special effects, which were good but I demand a little story line that is good. The characters had very little developement between them. He was poor, she was rich, they pretend to hate each other, and fall in love, SURPRISE!! If you agree please write me at alien_lynn@hotmail.com

Summary: Wonderful!!
Review: I loved this movie and own it so I can watch it whenever I want to. Let me make this clear, though, that I did not go see it because Leo was in it. I saw it because my friends recommended it to me. The first time I saw it in a theater, it fascinated me so much that I did not cry until the very end when Old Rose dropped the necklace into the water. I read a lot of the reviews, and many people had negative comments to say about it. Why? This event affected the people who either watched all the people in the water die, or had relatives die, but it never affected me at all. After seeing the movie, I had a much better understanding of what those people's thoughts and emotions were. I mean, can you just imagine what they went through? The movie did not even feel like it was three hours long because I was just so caught up in what was happening. I felt as if I were a part of the people on the ship, as if I was going through this horror with them. It was a really well-thought out movie, and acurately portrayed what happened that fateful night. I would recommend this movie to anyone who can open their minds and hearts to the past.

Summary: Truely the best movie of all time!
Review: Before I saw the movie "Titanic" for the first time, I had heard of many people who had seen the movie many times. I was a little bit amazed at the fact that there are people who watch the same movie far more than ten times. I thought to myself: "What must be so special about this movie ?". After I saw the movie for the first time, I knew what it was. A close friend of mine told me that he had seen Titanic and I had to watch it too. So I went to the cinema with my best friend and we were fascinated at how great the movie was. I ended up going to the cinema two more times after that to watch it again and I don't regret it at all! I am 20 years old and a big fan of the movie, have the video and have seen it several times already. If you haven't seen this movie, what are you waiting for ? You don't see it every day that history is written before your eyes!

Summary: I wish I could give this a negative star
Review: From T2 to THIS?!! James Cameron, how could you?! I don't even know where to begin bashing this 3-hour waste of time... first, the casting. Leo looks too young to be the right choice for the role of Jack Dawson. Kate Winslet looks too old to be 17-yr old Rose. The plot was predictable and stale, right up to old Rosa (and how did she live to be a 100?)throwing the diamond necklace overboard. Characterization was insultingly stereotypical, and the dialogue bland. And that annoying Celine Dion song that was played throughout the entire movie made me violent. The only thing this cheesy romance had going for it was the cinematography, and even that wasn't spectacular. By the time the ship sunk, I didn't even care. What's really pathetic is that this movie had potential. It could have focused on the tragedy of 1,500 lives needlessly lost. Instead this event was reduced into the background for an insipid tale of "true love", and if it was true love, then why did Rose get married after jack froze, eh? Scraping the barnacles off of the Titanic would have been more fun!

Summary: Awesome!
Review: This movie was exciting. I bought the video and watch it frequently. I am as emotional the more I watch it as I was the first time I seen it in theaters! Great job!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Entertaining and factual
Review: We had a relative aboard the Titanic, and this movie reflected the stories handed down in our family. Kudos to the makers of the film who took it beyond a documentary to make it interesting for all.
