Rating: Summary: Walker, Texas Ranger: circa 1971 Review: This highly entertaining film is almost an exact template for Chuck Norris' Walker, Texas Ranger. Consider these common elements: the troublemaker, the good guy with the cowboy hat who uses hapkido kicks (tang soo do in Norris' case) to straighten up the troublemaker, the message, and the songs (well, only one song in Walker's case, which comes in the titles).
On the whole, the film still works as good entertainment after all these years and may even bear a remake with perhaps Patrick Swayze in the title role (his ballet training will come in handy for those crescent kicks).
