Review: i am a 34 yr old woman and i just love the show fast and furious,it was interesting and i loved the cars and dominic he made the whole show with his bad boy image.the races was really good. i would suggest this movie to anyone. you wont be disappointed.

Summary: The Slow and the Stupid
Review: I saw this movie in the theatre. Naturally there were 100's of Honda/Acura and various imports there with their classic low profile tires, euro lights, and oversized exuast tips. All of them thinking they are bad ass speeding through a parking lot that kids were walking in. Just ignorant. I finally got into the movie to find out the plot was the most unrealistic stupid thing I have ever heard of. Like a little coffee can import is going to run a semi off the road and rob him? Give me a break! Just lame, just like the people that drive these cars. All well most import drivers are under the age of 20 and don't know too much about cars other than, "My Integra sure does look neat with my new Acura emblem.". I think it's been said before but there's no replacement for displacement, and there's always someone out there with something faster. Instead of wasting your money on your expensive wheels, go get an education. As for this DVD, total waste of money, unless you like Saliva or Ja Rule, I am told they have a music videos on here.

Summary: Point Break but with cars?
Review: I have heard lots about this movie after seeing it, but one thing that surprised me is that no one compared this movie to the awesome surf/action epic Point Break. I mean this movie has the exact same plot. Not that it isn't an exciting one, but I mean come on, where is the originality? Substitute surfboards for cars and you've got a perfect translation from Point Break to the Fast and the Furious. Point Break is an awesome movie with at least some originality to it. Fast and the Furious, although it has some nice scenes in it and is a fairly exciting movie, is really just a lame imitation. If you want to watch a movie about a cop going undercover to capture an ellusive gang of robbers, see him fall in love with a girl who happens to be a fringe member of that gang, befriend the gang and become unwilling to see that they are the 'badguys' he's looking for, and then at the end allow the leader to escape in order to pursue his dreams, you could watch either movie. If you want to see the movie that made wrote this plot watch Point Break. If you want to see a movie that adds some expensive special effects and rips off the plot, watch The Fast and the Furious.

Review: THIS MOVIE IS THE BEST ACTUALLY THEY REALLY CATCH THE ACTION OF WHAT THESE CARS CAN DO. I LOVE THE BEGINNING WHEN THEY HAVE THE FIRST HUGE STREET RACE. SURPRISINGLY THIS MOVIE IS UNDERRATED AND I DONT UNDERSTAND WHY ITS EXCITING JUST TO SEE THE CARS TOP OUT AND THEN THEY HIT THE NOS (NITRIOUS OXIDE) I CANT UNDERSTAND WHY PEOPLE ARE GIVING ALL THIS FALSE CRITICIZM ITS A GREAT MOVIE THAT I THINK EVERYONE SHOULD OWN.

Summary: Just an OK movie
Review: The movie was full of high speed action, the plot was so-so and the acting was horrendous. Probably a product of targeting only the cool, sexy young actors. Nevertheless, this movie introduced us to the growing popularity of the street racing scene and was very shallowy entertaining (3 stars).

Summary: DTS makes this worth owning
Review: This happens to be the first dvd that made my wife exclaim loudy, "Wow, that sounds great!!!" Considering she never understood why i spent so much money on my surround sound system untill this dvd says a lot. Plot wise it's weak but who cares!!! Visually it's not much different than most dvd's but the action is almost non-stop. If you have a DTS decoder i would recommend this dvd as THE benchmark dvd for showcasing your DTS system.
