Summary: Car heaven
Review: Every generation has its car movie. (Bullitt, Smokey and the Bandit, etc...) This is definitely ours. Everything from Diablos to vintage Ferraris to the star: a '67 Shelby GT500. The final car chase is unreal. Of course its over the top, but it does things very tongue-in-cheek. Good acting, good visuals, good soundtrack, and great opening sequence. I hope the DVD is filled with goodies.

Summary: Great actors, great plot and GREAT CARS!
Review: Do you have the need for speed? 0 - 60 in 2.9 Seconds sound good? The cast of this movie couldn't have been chosen any better. Nicholas Cage is great in this movie just like he was in movies like 'The Rock' or 'Con Air'. I personally didn't like some of his new ones like 'Bringing out the Dead' but I saw this one anyway because I am a fast car fanatic. It combines NON-STOP action and suspense with drama and comedy. A killer combo. This movie is DEFINATELY worth seeing for anyone who likes Nicholas Cage or anyone who has been convicted for grand theft auto.

Summary: Fun Movie With A Stupid Plot
Review: This movie was great. I didn't really like it the first time, but the second time I loved it. The acting is pretty good for a movie with a plot as dumb as this. It even has two oscar winners. Nic Cage and Angelina Jolie were pretty good at their parts. The extra features arent anything great, but its still worht getting. ........

Summary: Cars Cars Cars
Review: Being a man that love cars and car chases I found this movie very good. The nitro chase was very good and I can't wait to hear the engines on some serious audio equipment. Being that I haven't viewed the DVD yet I hope that the transfer is excellent. Definitely recommend to car lovers. Nicolas Cage rules.

Summary: Nicolas Cage and Angelina Jolie
Review: Randall "Memphis" Raines (Nicolas Cage) is an infamous car thief who is suddenly forced out of retirement when he finds out his brother, Kip Raines (Giovanni Ribisi) is in danger. In exchange for his brother's life he must agree to steal 50 cars for the mob in a matter of 24 hours. With the clock ticking, Randall quickly recruits his team by re-visiting his "old crew." Adding to the already tense circumstances, they now have to somehow manage to evade the cops who are already on to them!

Summary: Blown Away !!
Review: I am not a big fan of Angelina Jolie. So right away I was against seeing this movie with my husband. Its only redeeming quality to me was Giovanni Ribisi and Nick Cage. I remember when Giovanni was John and stared with Jonathan Winters on a TV show a while back. Anyway... From begining to end this movie rocked!! It was full of action and lots of witty dialog. I fell in love with the cars and cannot wait till its on DVD. Its two thumbs up !!

Summary: OK For An Action Movie
Review: I do not dig action movies - but as a friend of mine, an action movie lover, wanted to go to the cinema, I suggested we'd see »Gone In Sixty Seconds«.

Pros: The acting is very very good. Especially, as usual, from Nicolas Cage. And it's kinda fun to see Eccleston in an evil role as well...

The car chases are so exagerrated and unrealistic that they're funny! Pretty creative idea, the one with the gas tank twistin' 'n' turnin'!

Cons: Where's the story! Where's the excitement? The story is non-existing, just an excuse to make a movie about car passion. And the car-stealing goes pretty easy, without particularly big problems, except - of course - in the end.

So: Entertainment level quite OK. But this is in no way a movie I will remember in a couple of months.

Summary: Don't plan on driving anywhere after you see this movie!
Review: VROOM! This pretty much sums up the movie. The cars are fast and beautiful, the chases are breathtaking, and the actors are great. The plot has some serious holes in it that leave many questions unanswered and Angelina Jolie and Robert Duvall have disappointingly small roles. Giovani Ribisi just looks fat and out of shape. Some of the techniques used to steal the cars are amazing; if somebody wants your car, they are going to take it. Fast paced action along with a predictable villian make this an entertaining movie that is an enjoyable ride.
