Summary: Those Crazy Characters
Review: It's been a while since I watched something so funny but at the same makes you want to jump into the TV screen to help them out. The characters try so hard, but there's just so much going on against them. This dvd is truly refreshing--a guaranteed good laugh... just wish there was more of this show out there.

Summary: I know these freaks!
Review: KWOON is a funny series about Kung Fu students, what more could you ask?! While definitely cheesy, it fully embraces that aspect even donning the slogan "Bad Acting, Good Kung Fu". That is not to say the acting sucks, but it isn't the main focus. The action is where its at! Also, the quality of the episodes is not at all amatueristic. Lost of time and money were obviously put into the series to make it the best it could possibly be.
Ultimately, If you love cheesiness, good jokes, and action you should love this. It is great to see that this series found its way from the internet to store shelves around the country, it deserves some attention. Way to go guys!

Summary: Kwoon - Kung fu, bad acting, and comedy at its near best!
Review: Over the past few years, KWOON has been attracting a steadily growing fanbase all over the world. If you're new to KWOON, but are a kungfu fan, or if you like really bad acting and great comedy, you can't go wrong with this DVD.

KWOON is about the misadventures of a group of kungfu students trying to scrape a living off of the dusty floor of the Silicon Valley in CA. There are 3 episodes on the DVD (they were filmed in reverse order.. on purpose, but we haven't figured that part out yet). In episode 4, the KWOON guys encounter an ancient mummy while researching Egypt at the local museum. Unfortunately, they find that the curse of King Yummy is all too real. Oh, and there are some cute girls running around too.

In episode 3, the guys have a run-in with the local mob... and ninjas. Lots of ninjas. At a waterpark. With lots of beautiful women.

In episode 2, they have to battle off the Grim Reaper himself!Well, one of them, at any rate. This episode also includes the now famous "Group Fight." There's also a scene with... you guessed it.. a lot of beautiful women.

The kung fu in KWOON is superbly choreographed and really gives the viewer the old Shaw Bros feel. Also, guest martial artists including Hung Gar Sifu Donald Hamby and K-1 Champion Cung Le make an appearance! And the comedy is truly first rate. And even if the comedy wasn't there, the acting is so bad it's funny!

Each episode is digitally remastered and KHX certified. The DVD is loaded with extras too, including behind the scenes takes and film shorts. (And there are hot chicks in every episode!)

So, grab the CD, join the other 5 fans, and help Todd make his rent payment.

Summary: Surprisingly Fun
Review: This is the greatest! Kwoon is filled with the creativity, talent, skill, knowledge and fun that only a true movie buff could have. The acting is great and the Kung Fu is even better. It's an excellent series and shows tremendous promise for a long and exciting career in the movie industry. I have recommended Kwoon to all my friends and neighbors. Besides, he's my son. How could he be any thing but the greatest?

Summary: Nipple Bloody Fantastic!
Review: When I first saw KWOON back in 2003 I couldn't stop watching or laughing. The acting may not by Oscar worthy, but you hardly notice because the episodes are so full of action, kung-fu, comedy, witty dialog... and TALENT... oh and did I mention witty dialog!!! Soon after I was introduced to KWOON I met up with Todd Roy and his "people" at a convention and we've since become friends. They are some of the best guys to get to know. You can check out their web-site at http://www.kwoon.com and triple-fy your KWOON dvd experience.

I know I'm friends with Todd now, but even before I became friends with him I was telling everyone about KWOON. If you like to laugh at cornball comedy and off the wall humor this DVD is for you (you don't even have to be a Kung Fu junky to enjoy this) !!! It'll almost kill you... ;)
