Review: I didn't see Beverly Hills Cop or Beverly Hills Cop II but I saw Beverly Hills Cop III on a cable movie channel and I didn't think it was that bad I actually kind of liked it, yeah it's not Academy award material but it was fun to watch and I liked Eddie Murphy and Judge Reinhold and the action in the movie was good!

Summary: Makes Lethal Weapon 4 look like a great sequel
Review: I heard they might make a part 4, what''s it gonna be called ? "Return to Wolly World" ? lol. This is a very mildly entertaining 3rd sequel that brings Foley to a fun park called Wolly World to face some new villains. The results is an often very [bad] film with a script that should of stayed in the garbage. If you have any interest at all in it just rent it don't buy it. Buy the first 2, this one is so bad it pretty near ruined Murphy's career.

Review: I saw this movie on HBO or Showtime, it came on after another movie I was watching and it's not a cinematic masterpiece that will ever be considered a classic but I must say that I didn't think this movie was as bad as critics are saying and actually was enjoyable. I haven't yet seen the first and second movies and I do plan on renting them but I enjoyed Beverly Hills Cop III and I think Eddie Murphy and the rest of the cast did a fine job. Yes it's not Oscar winning material but it's just an entertaining movie that is worth a rental or watching on one of those pay movie channels.

Review: IN THE SECOND SEQUEL TO ''BEVERLY HILLS COP'', EDDIE MURPHY RETURNS TO AVENGE THE MURDER OF HIS BOSS. GOOD ENTRY IN THIS SERIES. UNLIKE COP 2, THIS WASN'T FILLED WITH MEDIOCRE JOKES AND MEDIOCRE ACTION. THIS FILM FOCUSES MORE ON WHAT ALL THE BEVERLY HILLS COP MOVIES SHOULD FOCUS ON, AND THAT'S HUMOR. IT IS HARD TO BELIEVE THAT THEY ACTUALLY SENT AXEL TO A THEME PARK FOR THIS ONE, THAT DOES MAKE IT LOOK A LITTLE CHILDISH. BUT, IF THIS IS THE LAST COP MOVIE THEY'RE EVER GONNA MAKE, THE CAST AND FILMMAKERS SHOULD BE PROUD OF HOW THEY ENDED THE SERIES.

Summary: The "super-cop" story is getting old...
Review: John Landis who brought us the ambitious THE BLUES BROTHERS and AN AMERICAN WEREWOLF IN LONDON directs this last BEVERLY HILLS COP installment. It would be unfair to say that he ruined the series as the previous installment, (COP 2) was mostly putrid. COP 3 is closer in spirit to the original, putting more focus on potential comedy and less on slick action.Again, The film starts out in gritty Detroit, Michigan where Axel Foley is leading a bunch of Detroit Police on a raid that goes sour. This one results in the death of his Chief Inspector Todd (Played wonderfully in all three films by an actual police chief.) And all of the evidence points to a theme park in Southern California, WONDER WORLD. All right, its not exactly Beverly Hills but the series has become a cartoon so its close enough. He again teams up with Rosewood (Judge Reinhold) but Taggart (John Ashton) has retired. It appears he became unavailable at the last minute and was replaced by Hector Elizondo. All of that doesn't matter any more, especially after a totally ridiculous appearance by Bronson Pinchot as "Serge". He was hysterical in the first film, now he represents a desperate attempt to recapture the magic. Landis has the most fun in creating his own 'Disneyland'-esque theme park. Filmed at the Paramount Theme Park and Universal Studios Theme Park, he succeeds in creating WONDER WORLD, equipped with its own repetitive theme song written by Disney composers the Sherman Brothers (It's a Small World, MARY POPPINS). He also has fun by casting other film directors in cameo roles. Joe Dante, Arthur Hiller, Robert and Richard Sherman and most recognizably George Lucas make appearances. The DVD is part of a new Special Edition release of the "COP" trilogy and has a nice audio/video transfer. Its supplemental features include a half hour cast and crew interview and some music videos. There are rumors of Axel Foley returning for yet a fourth BEVERLY HILLS COP.

Review: murphey keeps it togther comming back again in one of his best roles (only second to his dual role in bowfinger) and is still funny and great this movie is, while not as good as 1 and 2 still very good

Summary: Review of last Beverly Hills Cop movie
Review: Murphy returns as Axel Foley, yet again, in the third installment of the popular series. As often the case by the third movie, this series has lost pretty much all its steam. Foley is no longer that funny, (in fact, at times, he is uncharacteristicly angry), major players like John Ashton, Ronny Cox, and Paul Reiser are gone, and that cool feel to Foley's presence is all but gone. This time, Axel's boss in Detriot bites the bullet meaning no silly excuse for leaving town or crazy schemes to cover up the fact that he's gone. Hell, he doesn't even use some clever idea to get into the park for free like he did before, he just whines about ticket prices and comes back to pay. Terrible. This character just isn't the same as he once was. There are a few fun moments here and there but Beverly Hills Cop III. is definetly the very least of the series.

Review: The first two films of this trilogy are great. If you have never seen them, I recommend that you go to your local rental store and rent them. As for this one, it's horrible. This is the worst one to me. I hated the theme park story, or was it just the theme park music that was annoying? Anyway, avoid it.

Summary: Shouldn't have been made
Review: The original Beverly Hills Cop is a classic. The 2nd one was just as good. Both had a perfect blend of action, comedy, and suspense. The fact that they waited to make this 3rd installment so many years later (during Eddie's current streak of terrible movies) should have told everyone making this movie right off the bat that it was a bad idea. John Landis (who usually makes pretty good flicks) took over the directing for this one and let's just say it's not something he should be proud to have on his resume. In a nutshell, this movie is just campy... knee slapper jokes, lame plot, etc. The spirit and integrity of the first two movies is completely lost in this 3rd one. It's a shame too how you go from making two great movies to a third that's not just below par, but stinks to the high heaven.
