Crocodile Dundee in Los Angeles

Summary: Light Comedy done with Some Class.
Review: This thrid (and I think the best) of the Crocodile Dundee films directed by Simon Wincer, finds Paul Hogan once again playing the man from the Austrailan outback, Linda Kolowski also returns as Sue, the love of his life, and Serge Cockburn plays their son, Mikey, and this rather unqie family travels from Austraila to The United States where Sue accepts a job from her newspaper dad to temporary run the LA newspaper office there. Once there, they uncover laughs and adventure as they come across what looks like a theft of rare paintings taking place at a nearby movie studio. Photography of the Austrailan outback is quite outstanding in this film and the comedy is mostly family friendly. The movie also includes cameo apperances by several actors including Nicholas Hammond who played Spider-Man back in the late 1970's. Music by Basil Poledouris.

Summary: A good Film for Parents and Kids alike
Review: This thrid, and maybe last movie the Crocodile Dundee series shows Paul Hogan once again playing the man from Down Under who comes to Los Angeles with the love of his life, Sue, and their young son Mick, when Sue accepts on offer from her dad to temporarly run the newspaper office in LA. Sue soon comes across some evidence that a major crime at a film studio is in process, and soon both she, Mick, and Mick Jr. are having an adventure that will make parents and kids laugh. Please see this film. It's funny, warm, and is certainly one of the better movies.

Summary: well....what did you really expect?
Review: Well, this is certainlly an embarressing movie. As Paul Hogan tries to resurrect a dead franchise that really wasn't all that clever or popular in the first place. Don't get me wrong, I love Paul Hogan, The first Croc was good, he was ok in Almost an angel, he was a straight pimp in Lightning Jack; one of the best comedies of all time. However this...there are no words for this, every line is predictable, the acting is horrible and everything from begining to end is just just cornball and cheesey. There really was no need for this film. The reason i gave it three stars is because despite all its shortcomings, it does have charm, you can almost symphathyze with Hogan knowing he probably knew this wasn't going to work, however I watched it at two in the morning on accident and it kept me watching it; all you have to do is suspend disbelief and you feel like you are with an old friend again.
