Summary: high on action, but falls a bit short
Review: True Lies is one of Cameron's less successful attempts to mix characters and romance with strong action - but even then it's not half bad. Arnold has to save the world from nuclear terrorists while trying to save his marriage at the same time. Not bad, but the film doesn't quite pull it all together.Cameron's action scenes are his usual fine work, but with a lighter tone that pervades the movie. There's also plenty of humor to go around, which is also a nice touch. But Cameron can't quite fit Arnold's personal and professional lives together for the big showdown without feeling like there's some scenes missing. (How *do* the terrorists track him down at the most inopportune moment? For example) A bit more editing and a few more explanatory scenes could've improved True Lies, but all-in-all it's still an enjoyable popcorn muncher. The DVD itself comes with a nifty menu, but only the standard trailer+chapter select features.

Summary: Action Packed and Funny!!!
Review: This movie is so cool. It has some of the best action I've ever seen in a movie (along with Die Hard) and it's so funny! Jamie Lee Curtis is perfect. I like Arnold, but this wasn't his best work. But hey, he's buff, he's got the cool accent, he can shoot a gun, who really cares, right? The highlight of the movie is the beautiful and talented Eliza Dushku, only twelve years old in this movie (her character is 14, but she was 12 when they filmed it). One of the two flaws is that she didn't have enough screen time. Come on, 140 minutes, and you can only squeeze her into three scenes?? The time is the other problem. It dragged on a little. But other than that, it's a great movie. See it!!!!!!! 4.5 stars

Summary: The better Bond
Review: This movie does easily make it into the top ten movies I have seen in my entire life-- and I have seen plenty. It is an action-comedy-adventure like no other and it is simply fun to watch. Similar to many Bond-movies it is much better (everything is neater: the story, the cinematics, the FX, and the actors -- Arnold performs like Connery, the one and only Bond). Cameron is one of the top action-directors in the world, and this is my absolute favorite by him.

Review: This movie totally rocked! I love the tango at the beginning that Arnold Schwarzenegger and Tia Carrere danced to. Anyone who wants to learn the Tango should buy this video. It has great moves. Beside the awesome dance screens, the movie covers it all. Humor, action, and romance. NO one have mentioned about Tia Carrere in this movie. But she is in it. And she was great, even though she was one of the bad guys. I wish she had kicked Jamie Lee Curtis' booty. Overall, everyone should own or at least see this movie once. Totally worth the money.

Review: TRUE LIES hinges on stupidity rather than wit: Jamie Lee Curtis does not know what her husband does for a living and does not even recognize him when he is a few feet away. That moronic element of the picture drags down what could have otherwise been a pretty nifty action flick, although I would nonetheless see it again. Comic actor Tom Arnold upstages Arnold Schwarzenegger, no small feat. Director James Cameron definitely packages some excitement in TRUE LIES, but it left me feeling that Cameron and Schwarzenegger were resting on their TERMINATOR laurels.

Review: The picture and sound quality are the best I've seen so far on a DVD disk. The picture is incredibly clear. Wonderful performances by the entire cast, espicially Jamie Lee Curtis and Auh-nold. Incredible special effects that look flawless. Great fun, great script, great characters, great story, and fabulous special effects make this movie a home run!
