Summary: THEY'RE BACK!
Review: WILL SMITH AND MARTIN LAWRENCE RETURN TO GO AFTER A CUBAN DRUG LORD. HAS MORE ACTION, MORE VIOLENCE, AND HAS A LONGER RUNNING TIME. THIS AIN'T NO BETTER OR WORSE THAN THE FIRST FILM. EVEN THOUGH THIS IS A GOOD SEQUEL, THEY COULD'VE TRIMMED THE RUNNING TIME A LITTLE BIT. IT IS A LITTLE BIT TOO LONG AT 147 MINUTES. ANYWAY, IT HAS ENOUGH FUNNY MOMENTS AND MORE THAN ENOUGH GOOD ACTION SCENES TO MAKE THIS A HIGHLY ENETERTAINING SEQUEL. YA GOTTA LOVE THE VERY SEXY GABRIELLE UNION.

Summary: Bad Boys II, better than the first
Review: If you thought Bad Boys I was awesome, why haven't you watched and bought the DVD yet?

Bad Boys II has great action sequences, car chases, shoot outs, and an all-out tatical scene. One word: awesome.

This movie is all action, though it does have the typical love story, it is not as emphasized, and the focus is on the story and the action.

Martin Lawrence and Will Smith come back to play the original roles in another spectacular action-packed sequel, breaking the typical assumption that most sequels are bad. In this movie, the story is where they come upon a ecstasy smuggling operation in Miami, which they must investigate and stop.

Not only does this movie provide great action sequences, it is hilarious as well. The jokes and antics of Martin Lawrence are seen, Will Smith and Martin Lawrence are a great duo to put in a movie.

Fast cars, explosions, guns, and jokes that make you crack up, what other movie do you want guys? This movie is fun for girls to watch as well, explosions, guns, cars, hey, they're not for guys only! Everyone will have a great time watching this movie. Certain parts I could not stop laughing, it is that great! Rent it, watch it, then buy it!

Summary: action-packed
Review: I had the privilege, and yes i mean privilege, of watching bad boys II for the first time today. i didnt go to see it in the theater, dismissing it as another sequel that somehow missed the mark. much to my suprise, this movie is better than the first. it is action packed, has a great storyline, and as you would expect from martin lawerence and will smith, it is also hilarious. It also features the best-kept acting secret, jordi molla. he has mainly starred in non-american films, but has recently came into the american market in this movie and with a superb performance in "blow" with johnny depp and penelope cruz. bad boys II isnt just another sequel, it is a comedic thrill ride from start to finish that is well worth the price of the DVD. I recommend it to anyone aged 16 up, there is a lot of graphic violence and language, but overall, a great movie.

Summary: One of the best American Action movies ever made.
Review: People had a lot of beef with this movie. It ended up offending a lot of people and even causing some to walk out of the movie theatre either in outrage or nausea. Many critics hated it; in fact I don't remember a recent movie other than Texas Chain Saw that got worse reviews. The reason is that this movie was made for the masses and released during the "summer blockbuster" period and many people are not ready for this kind of action. This is the first time that I can ever remember that an American movie was released to the masses that contained hard core John Woo style Hong Kong action, and the reality is, many people are just not ready for it.

With the increasing popularity of "Hong Kong" action movies, as well as the migration of many of the great Hong Kong action directors and actors coming over to the USA, we are finally seeing many directors who have been inspired by it, use it in their films. In no way is Bay or Bruckheimer "biting" or copying action Legends like John Woo, however it's obvious in some of the action scenes in this movie that they were influenced. Which I think is great.

With this in mind however Bruckheimer and Bay have their own original personal style of high octane, "crack" style action that is so over the top and outrageous it has totally raised the action bar in movies.

With that being said, the movie has its flaws. It's totally not believable in the least, in fact through out the dozens of gun fights, car chases, and chaos Smith and Lawrence go through, neither gets injured, or even seems to break a sweat. In addition the profanity is a bit overused, as well as several scenes that are just flat out unnecessary and distasteful. However instead of being offended by any of it, I choose to just respect the fact that its their movie, and that is what they want to put in it. I don't have to like it, and I can just fast forward as I deem appropriate.

Overall however, if you are a die hard action fan like me, its a must purchase. Action wise its is one of the best action films I have ever seen, with that being said, it still is at the bottom of the list of the classics such as many of the John Woo movies, or Die Hard, etc, this is because of the poor script and lack of believability. In fact this movie is poor compared to such masterpieces as "The Killer", "Hardboiled", or "Die Hard", etc.

I would warn however those who are not used to hardcore action to stay away or use caution, and I would also not recommend this for any children. This is why this movie was so controversial, because a lot of people saw Will Smith and just assumed it was ok to take the family to see it, in fact an NC-17 rating would have been more appropriate.

Summary: Cars
Review: Okay this really isn't a review. I'm sorry. I'm just trying to find out the list of cars that were featured in this movie. If anybody knows could you email me at ddm10s@aol.com. I'm looking for one in particular. It's the classic (old) car that was driven by the the Jamacan dudes. I believe it was there before the "steak out gone bad" scene and on the "highway chase." I think it's an orange or red color with black on it. Thanks guys.

Summary: "Bad Boys! Bad Boys! What 'chu gonna do?...
Review: This movie is dull, and annoying too!"

First off, I've never seen the first 'Bad Boys' movie. Maybe I've seen a few minutes of that flick from HBO, but not enough to know much about it. Due to sibling integrity, I decided to watch "Bad Boys II"; let me just say that if this sequel is anything like the original, then thank goodness I didn't get a chance to see that pile of junk!

Some foreign druglord has been making millions of deniro selling fatal Ecstasy pills to unsuspected civilians, mostly ravers, while trying to be victorious in a drugwar against some other foreign druglord and his buddies 'by any means necessary', so Will and Martin as LAPD officers is gonna try and stop him whle they work out their own personal problems. Yes, that's all Columbia Pictures can think about for a so-so plot, but with comedy celebrities like Will Smith and Martin Lawrance in this film, what can go wrong? (car crashes, countless amount of violence and peril occuring in film) Okay, I take that back.

To make up for the already-used-up-many-times plot, Columbia Pictures uses its trademark formula to make this movie shine: using over-the-top special effects and stunt coordination, cheesy one-liners for the characters, and ad campaigns that make most of us want to drink a Pepsi. Though generally I hate this formula, it works for "Bad Boys II". The action scenes are amazing, the fighting scenes with the bullet-time effect and the car-chasing scenes, albeit unrealistic, they all look so ill and destructive. Plus, it has a few humorous moments here and there, though I wish Will and Martin would just lay off on the catchphrase-of-the-day "Whoosah"; that REALLY doesn't encourage me to lose my anger.

Even if these action scenes are cool to the hardcore action fan, for 147 minutes put into "Bad Boys II", that's what the hardcare action fan is gonna get in 3/4 of that amount in length. I'm not so crazy with action movies as I was in my younger days, so in the end, watching all those overwhelming action scenes with a lack of interest in the predictable storyline makes it seem tiring and almost brain-dead. What's worse, is that when certain scenes, like the haitian gun-battle scene, deal with emotional peril that can offend viewers and combine it with unintentional humor, though I can understand that this is a movie, I find "Bad Boys II" more furious than funny. I HATE MOVIES THAT MAKE ME FEEL FURIOUS!

Adding to the boring extras with no commentary on this 2-disc set, and "Bad Boys II" is just a dynamite that executes a big explosion but doesn't take damage. I'm sure many people got the love for Will and Martin just enough to entertain themselves with something about this film, and I can respect that, but I just can't respect this film.

Summary: Good Action, Bad writing & Homophobic!
Review: I figured the I might as well see what this film has to offer, so I rented it and discovered that -yes Michael Bay does create crazy action stunts - but the writing/dialogue is so poor. Martin Lawrence's character is almost as annoying and Eddie Murphy as the ass in Shrek. I realize that this film is designed for the hyper-macho idiot - but the stupid homophobic dialogue is really unnecessary (even if it is embraced by it's audience). Even thought Will Smith's character is the Homophobe, he does come off as the Action Film Star and continue his success in this genre. The film has a great look to it, as some very nice camera work/ effects.

Summary: "Don't hate the player, hate the game!"
Review: This movie is not for the faint of heart, or the weak of stomach for that matter! Plenty of blistering car chases (and crashes), spectacular gunfights (one is done in 360 degree camera motion, and executed very well), and brutally violent and graphic kills will keep even the most hardcore action junkie satisfied.

Smith and Lawrence have a rapport that makes the humor element in this movie shine. Well, most of the time. Let's face it, we all know Smith isn't the funniest guy in the world (Men in Black II anyone?), and there are plenty of 'should be' comedic attempts that just aren't funny at all. But then, there are some REALLY funny scenes in this movie that will literally have you rolling in your seat, and that more than makes up for what isn't funny. Of course, no one should forget Joe Pantoliano, who plays the captain of our dynamic duo, who does a superb job here and is actually funnier than either Smith or Lawrence, and tends to steal virtually every scene he is in.

If hardcore humor, crunching metal, and brutal deaths is your thing, you really should give this flick a spin.

Summary: THEY SHOOTIN!!!! MADE YOU LOOK
Review: Bad Boys 2 is about action, thats it and thats all. It wasnt funny, very well written or politically correct. However that being said this movie is COOL AS HELL. Now we know violence is not good but this is a MOVIE,and so i wont take off of it because it is as gruesome as a Jason flick...But Wow. This movie has the best gunfight scenes i have ever seen. It makes Heat look like The little mermaid. If you are a fan of violent shoot-em ups and explosions, and great villans be sure to cop that disc.

Summary: ABSOLUTE GARBAGE CRAP!!!
Review: This movie is even worse than the original. How could anyone believe that these two comedians are cops?Give me a break. The movie had the same old stereotypical druglord plot to it which is getting very old.The acting was horrible and had some really corny jokes. Will smith stinks as an actor and should stick with being on tv.Way too much mindless rap in the soundtrack.Worst movie of the year.DO NOT BUY THIS DUMB MOVIE!!!
