Summary: Action-Packed Adventure--Up to Harrison Ford's Usual! Great!
Review: Harrison Ford is perfectly cast as the fugitive Dr. Kimble, wrongly accused of his wife's murder and sentenced to death. A twist of fate frees the prisoner while on his way to jail. Not only is he on the run, but also determined to find the true murderer of the wife he loved. -- Tour de force percormances by Ford and Oscar-winner Tommy Lee Jones make this a great film to watch. The action never stops, a beginning to end adventure! If you liked the TV series, you'll LOVE this movie!

Summary: A DVD review
Review: This seems like a movie that is ripe for a special edition DVD. This DVD has no extras, not even a trailer, other than some notes on the insert. DVD collectors may want to wait for a special edition unless you absolutely have to have this in your collection.

Summary: I Didn't Do It! It Was the One Armed Man!
Review: Come on, give me a break. That's what they all say, Harrison. What's wrong with you people? This movie was boring. It started out alright with the murder scene and Mr Ford looking like some kind of a wooly mammoth, which was amusing, and then went downhill fast. I don't know, maybe I'm just hard to please. But my viewing partner agreed with me that this one was a big fat let down. How many minutes of this film had Julianne Moore in it? Five? So what is her name doing on the opening credits? The ending is also pathetic. Oh, it's ok Harrison. Gosh, we're real embarrassed and sorry about all of this. Forgive and forget? Uh huh. I never once held my breath or even felt sorry for the good doctor. Do yourself a favor and pass this one up. Harrison, I weep for the good old days.

Summary: A Superior Movie!
Review: I always enjoyed the television series. The movie was just as good. Tommy Lee Jones played his role as a U.S. Marshall to the hilt. Harrison Ford was above average in his role as the wrongly accused doctor. The bus being hit by the train was a unique special effects act. The plot of this movie was outstanding as well. This movie even had the one armed man as the killer just like the series that was on television. The associate of Dr. Kimbell's being a party to the murder was another

unique twist. This was a well written story as well as a fantastic movie. I have watched this for the 100th time. I will watch it 100 more times.Buy this video, you will not regret it.

Summary: Really Well Done.
Review: This movie was very well done. Tommy Lee Jones was at his best as usual. This is the first movie I've seen with Harrison Ford in a part like this but he did an excellent job. The plot was well written, the characters were all very good and overall the movie was excellent. Very exciting as well.

Summary: worthy of multiple viewings
Review: You know the story - what makes the movie great is Tommy Lee Jones as the Marshall and Harrison Ford as the fugitive. This movie could not have been cast better. Additionally, the supporting cast is equally outstanding. Great DVD...one of those rare movies that you can watch over and over.

Summary: SURPRISE!
Review: To be honest, I never thought that a) Harrison Ford movie or b) a modern crime movie could be this good. The genious plot and the stunning photographic scenes kept me glued to my sofa throughout the whole movie. Now, I am not a very big fan of any serious stuff ( I prefer Coen bros. - movies), but now I must admit I'm impressed. Very professional.

Summary: Never gets dull
Review: I'm glad I bought a copy of this movie, because I can watch it over and over again. This has something a lot of action movies forget -- characters you care about. Kimble may be a doctor, but he manages to be an "everyman." Just as in the original TV show.

Also, you root for Gerard and all his staff. How did they manage to get such a great supporting cast for this movie? Not that I'm complaining.

The big stunts are spectacular. But each time I watch this, I most want to see the staircase chase again. Not to mention the part right after that where Kimble eludes Gerard by... OK, I'm not going to give that part away.

I just wish they'd make a *real* sequel to this. one with both Tommy Lee Jones and Harrison Ford.

Summary: The Fugitive
Review: This is a great and action-packed runaway thriller about an innocent Chicago surgeon named Richard Kimble (Harrison Ford) accused of murdering his loving wife (Sela Ward) and now on the run from the F.B.I. and the police. Fleeing through forests and sewers, jumping from dams and braving the worst conditions ever, Kimble attempts to prove to F.B.I. deputy Samuel Gerrard (Tommy Lee Jones) and his team (one played by Joe Pantoliano) that he's innocent, and discovering his friend (Jereon Krabbe) was the actual killer. A must-see thriller and a good movie from director Andrew Davis, with an appearance by Julianne Moore.
