Summary: The stupidest movie of all time.
Review: This would have to rate as one of the worst films I have ever seen. It has no story. Ridiculous violence and a climax that is just ignored so the characters can still be alive for the final scene. However it is not supposed to be a film with any great story. Its mearly an excuse to film some of the most ridulous "fancy shooting" you will ever see. Its hilarious, stylish and completley absured. If it was designed to be this way it counts as one of the best attempts at irony depicted on film for quite some time. However I feel it was accidentally rubbish and therefore would count as one of my favourte films of all time.

Review: This is not a movie to watch for deep symbolism. It will not change your life, nor will it impart any deep wisdom unto you. But it never said it would, did it? This is action, pure and simple. Watch this movie with a few friends and you'll need a mop to sop up the flow of testosterone. The action is non-stop, the camera work is creative, and Salma Hayek is enough to make anyone weak at the knees. This movie has basically no redeeming social value - which, in this age of thinking-man's violence and unabated political correctness, is a welcome change.

Summary: RACIST COMIC BOOK GARBAGE
Review: A real piece of trash if ever I saw one! Who needs Pat Buchanan when you can have "Latinos" (Banderas, Hayek, Marin and the Tarantino wannabe who directed them) willing to portray themselves like the scum of the earth Hollywood thinks they are anyway? Yeah, that's the funny thing about Mexicans: not only they're a bunch of greasers living in some sort of a Mad Max pigsty south-of-the-border, they always seem to die like comic book characters too! Who said there aren't good parts for Hispanics in movies today? They're the best comic relief around! Just watch them shoot each other to death like "desperados" (in THEIR side of the border, mind you)!!! It's all in good fun!!! What a barrel of laughs!!! By the way, I don't know what "desperado" means. It's not an English word, and the Spanish word is "desesperado" i.e. hopeless. So is this movie.

Summary: Terrific blend of comedy and action
Review: Antonio Banderas really lights up the screen in this one. I've seen this movies 10's of times, and I still look forward to seeing it again. Banderas is "too good," overcoming dozens of bad guys in a bar but coming out unscathed, never running out of bullet clips. But that's what makes this movie so fun to watch. His subtle facial and bodily gestures light up the screen and make this movie a delight. A great movie. If you're into movies like "The Big Hit," or "Pulp Fiction," you'll love this one.

Summary: Great fun, pisses on Jerry bruckheimer's actioners
Review: This is a really fun, knowing action film which in style owes a lot to John Woo. I'm not a big fan of action films but I rally enjoyed this one. Steve Buscemi and Quentin Tarantino have really funny cameos, and Antonio Banderas also shows a good sense of character and comic timing. Although not as good as the slightly more serious but also funny El Mariachi, this is enjoyable in itself mainly thanks to it's hilariously OTT action sequences.

Review: I really liked this movie, partly because of Antonio Banderas, and partly because of the violence. But don't misunderstand me, you have to be in the right frame of mind to see this movie. If you want a deep intellectual movie, this is definatly not it. But if you want action with a gorgeous star, this is the right movie

Review: Terrible acting sums this movie up. Along with completely boring plot. I almost fell asleep. I couldn't stand making it to the end. And when it ended. All I cared about was that it was over, not that the main characters survived.
