Summary: Harrison Ford+Tommy Lee Jones=One great film.
Review: "The Fugitive" is one of the best films ever made. It is undeniably intellgent, action-packed and full of enjoyable characters. Harrison Ford stars as Dr. Richard Kimble, a doctor who has been wrongfully convicted for murdering his wife. He pleads innocent--as we all know--and claims that a one-armed man killed his wife. The pleas of Kimble go unheard, and while being transported to the prison where he will await the deliverance of his death sentence, one of the prisoners starts the fall of a house of cards that ends in one of the most awesome, stunning and breathtaking action-sequences in film history, which includes a 20 on a scale of 10 bus/train wreck. Narrowly escaping death, and with the help of a fellow convict, Kimble is on the run... and he never stops. Kimble jumps from one place to another faster than Peter Rabbit on a syringe full of adrenaline and an IV drip of grain alcohol. Enter the obsessive United States Marshall, Samuel Gerard, played with flawless charisma by Tommy Lee Jones. As the team of U.S. Marshalls relentlessly stalks Kimble, we are taken on a sight-seeing tour of Chicago. We see Kimble's undying determination to prove his innocence, and Gerard's endless odyssey of cat and mouse that deprives him of rest. The film is directed with the god-like guiding hand of Andrew Davis, whose superb direction and eye for a good camera angle make this movie a real eye-feast. The best thing about the movie, though, are the performances and chemistry between Jones and Ford. These are two terrific actors that I would LOVE to see together again. If not for these two, the film would never have worked as well as it does. "The Fugitive" is a pure joyride. A joyride that--unlike other films I can name--takes you through the minds of its characters and in a weird sort of way, makes you see things from their point of view as we get to know them like close friends. We KNOW WHY Kimble is running, and we KNOW WHY Gerard is as relentless as he is, because, if we were in this situation, regardless of which one of them we may be, we KNOW that we would be doing that exact same thing.

Summary: edge of your seat action
Review: Harrison Ford leaves any trace of Han Solo behind as he portrays a doctor who is framed for his wife's murder. The thrilling train/bus escape scene will go down in Hollywood history as one of films most exciting moments. It doesn't stop there though, we see Harrison go over a dam and struggle to survive in the shadows of Chicago. Based on the TV series, David Twohy breathes new life into the man-against-the-world premise. Harrison is in top form, perhaps in the best character piece of his career. Dr. Richard Kimble is a beleivable character. He's not a Superman, but a smart man with steely survival instincts. The most hair-raising moments are the many in which you think he's had it, they're gonna get him for sure, but no, he slips between their fingers like sand in an hour glass. My single complaint is that I still don't quite understand why he was set up. They very briefly cover something about a new drug, and I think Dr. Kimble had something to do with it's testing, but from there it's blurry. Also the DVD itself could use some spiffing up. A trailer would be nice. How about some commentary? I think it has some stupid cast bios that nobody cares about, but that's it.

Summary: Great.
Review: This is one of those great movies from the early to mid 90's,when there was always a new movie to rent. Basicly what I'm saying is this movie is big, but not as big as it should be. Because I ask people what they think of this movie, and they say never heard of it. Stands as one of the best adaptions of a previous story.

Summary: review of the DVD
Review: although this is truly one of the greatest action movies ever I have to admit that the DVD leaves ALOT to be desired. Once again Warner Brothers has put absolutely no time into releasing the DVD's true capabilities. It seems that they are so busy trying to get DVD's out that they forgot that people want better quality than they probably already own on a copy of the movie on VHS. I for one feel that I have paid twice for the same quality movie...once on VHS and once on DVD. If you are considering purchasing the DVD go back and watch the VHS it is exactly the same thing! Warner Brothers you should truly be ashamed. (word to the wise: bladerunner and the unforgiven are equally as disappointing)
