Summary: An instant Camp Classic.
Review: When a Documentary Crew (Jennifer Lopez, Ice Cube, Jonathan Hyde, Owen Wilson, Kari Wuhrer, Eric Stoltz and Vicent Casterllanos) are going to the Amazon for the search of a tribe of Legendary Indians, But when they pick up a Mysterious Snake Pocher (Jon Voight at his most campiest role), he`s on the Hunt of a Forty Foot Snake, which it`s has been following them since the Boat Trip.

Directed by Luis Liosa (Sniper, The Specialist) has made one of the most campy Horror films ever made. Even the Computer Generated Imagery (CGI) are more campy. A Box Office Hit in the Spring of 1997. This film will not be loved by everyone in the modern audiences but Fans of Camp Classics will love this one. Super 35. Grade:B+.

Summary: Great movie
Review: This is agreat movie The casting was good though I was surprised
to see some of the actors here the first time you watch it it may be scary but the next time it's almost laughable its not intentional just the acting and choice of words almost makes it comady.Staring Ice Cube, Jenifer Lopez, Eric Stoltz, and a few others makes this movie into something that you can watch over and over and never get sick of it. I highly recomend this for
any movie fan!

Summary: a superb snake thriller
Review: Anaconda is one of those movies that just seems to have it all. It definitely will take your breath away. Good plot and script make it enjoyable. Acting was very well-done especially for Jon Voight. I am really into action movies with special effects like this. I don't think there's ever been a good snake thriller like this around. It's probably the best of all snake movies. All others don't clome close to it( Python is one of another snake movies that had potential but failed to become a hit and is overly bad). You have to get this dvd. Now!

Summary: Bad, Bad, Bad
Review: "Anaconda" was easily the worst movie of 1997 that I saw and may even have been the worst big budget film of the year. It stars Jennifer Lopez and Ice Cube, among others, as documentary film makers on a voyage down the Amazon. They are guided by Paul Sarone (Jon Voight), a slightly insane hunter who has been tracking an elusive anaconda snake.

This isn't just any anaconda though; it's the biggest one anyone has ever seen. It's supposedly the kind of snake that can devour a cow whole.

At first everything goes fine, of course. As the excursion goes further up the river, Sarone begins to tell them of the giant anaconda and begins his lookout for the snake. Eventually he imperils the safety of the film makers to satiate his lust for the snake's blood.

I probably shouldn't have expected much from a movie with the title "Anaconda". However, even if I hadn't expected anything from this movie, I still would have been disappointed. It's an example of the worst kind of film making: a reliance on eye candy to fill in plot holes.

It's one thing if the movie is plotted as a teen peek show; but, this was supposed to be a serious horror/action movie. Even the one type of eye candy you would expect from this movie, the special effects, were a disappointment. The snake, when it finally appeared in full glory, was laughable at best.

Oh well, live and learn I guess. Just avoid this movie at all cost.

Summary: I know the kids will yell at me
Review: Sorry. I can't go higher than 1 star. This film was bad! The snake was scary IF you're five years old! And I was surprised to see veteran stars in this such as Jon Voight. There were so many bloopers too that even if the special effects had been better, it still wouldn't have been believable because of all the mistakes. Nope...this movie is stacked on my bottom shelf along with the Cable Guy.

Summary: Good movie, bad snake
Review: I really enjoyed the movie. Although, I wish it had been a little longer. The snake looks really scary - particulalrly the last 20 minutes are really awsome and full of action. A must see for those who love movies like jaws and godzilla. Highly recommended. However, if you did not like jaws or godzilla, you probably won't like this movie either.
