Rating: Summary: greatest movie ever! Review: this movie was great, it is played off as a serioud movie, but the definate b-rated action scenes make this one of the funniest movies I have ever seen, great acting, and great sound effects. I purchased this movie after watching it only one time, this is a movie for everyone, I would recommend that you purchase it immediately
Rating: Summary: Major Insult to Seals Review: Totally Inaccurate from the uniforms to everything about this movie. I was insulted to the point of anger while watching this movie. This is not a "B" Movie I would not even rate it a "Z" movie
Rating: Summary: Only sorry I can't give it a half star! Review: Unfortunately, I can't think of a single nice thing to say about this movie, no matter how hard I try. The khakis these "SEALS" wear look like they came from a thrift store. I'm not sure what insignia they were wearing, but it wasn't a trident or Navy jump wings. The collar devices were affixed haphazardly at best, and Naval officers with no name tags...I don't think so! On most missions where diving is utilized, rebreather systems like the Draeger are used most of the time, rather than conventional scuba gear. And while SEAL operators do tend to use "unconventional" weaponry from time to time, it's doubtful that you'll ever find one assaulting a target with a pair of handguns ala "Roy Rodgers". The sound effects were actually funny, though probably not intentionally. It reminded me of cartoons, hand movements causing a "whoosh"...come on. I hope one day Hollywood will ask for (and receive) cooperation from the U.S.Navy Special Warfare Group and make a movie that properly glorifies those warriors known as Navy SEALS. This mess unfortunately did not even come close.
