Summary: As Bad as it Gets
Review: It's a real shame that movie garbage like Rambo 3 has to come out into the world. What's worse is that when people hear the word "Rambo", it's used as a stereotype to describe anything that involves brainless, unrealistic killing.

The plot is simple and stupid, and isn't even worth repeating. There are two parts of the movie so unrealistic that I can barely mention them without getting annoyed.

1) Rambo takes a machine-gun round to the chest from a low-flying chopper. All he does is reel back and yell "UNGH!" I guess .50 cal rounds aren't that tough.

2) Rambo forces a head-on collision with a tank into a chopper, and despite having some temporary unconsciousness, escapes just fine.

A real shame is that people are most likely to see re-runs of this movie, and will consequently never see Rambo: First Blood, which is a great movie that is nothing like its senseless sequels.

One cool part: the dialogue between Col. Trautman and the evvvvil Soviet commander:

Evil: "Who do you think this man(Rambo) is, God?" Trautman: "God would have mercy...he won't!"

Summary: Rambo III takes on a whole new meaning now...
Review: Its funny to think that Rambo's buddies in this movie are the same people responsible for 911, well, maybe more sad than funny..

Stallone mumbles his way between action scenes; taking his bow and arrows to Afganistan in search of his mentor who has been taken hostage by the evil Soviets. Stuff does blow up real good.

This movie is simplistic and cartoonish but it is entertaining; just like today's American foriegn policy.

Summary: Sensational but underrated finale in the trilogy.
Review: John Rambo ( Stallone) is now living in Thailand, he has been informed that his mentor " Col. Trautman" ( Richard Creena) has been kidnapped by Russian terrorists in Afghanastan, now he joins with a few comrads to fight the enemy.

Underrated but terrific final Rambo movie that offers good pace, some decent acting, hard core action that would make any action lover drool and the infamous one-liner " Your worst nightmare".

Summary: I am RAMBO, hear me Roar!
Review: John Rambo is once again caught up in the world of War and death as he comes out of 'retirement' to rescue his long time friend Colonel Trautmen from the Russians in Afghanistan.

This explosive action movie brings back Sylvester Stallone as the grunting, no-smiles, super buff, near indestructible, one-man army guy, John Rambo. With a vast array of weaponry (some I'm sure he pulls out of nowhere), helicopter gunships, tanks, his trustee Rambo bowie knife, and funny one liners, he will win this war, even if he has to kill everyone to prove it. This is great for a high-action, no brainer night of fun with the mates. RECOMMENDED!!!

Summary: Rambo stoled my line
Review: Me and Rambo are so much alike, before I ever saw this movie, I would usually say "Yes I fired few shots from my ass". I think somebody stoled this phrase from me and I know the guy who did it
Rambo. Uncut virsion actually says above line not what they show in the movie. Oh yeah this movie is so silly, those people who played freedom fighters are so funny and stupid, I like when one of them asks Rambo, "What's a football, you play for a food"? My answer would be yes you stinking muharajee. Throughout the movie I just wanted to guide those russian choppers to these "freedom fighters". Yeah Rambo is an idiot, this stupid country thinks it could control everybody and act like Rambo as an answer to every problem, listen to what I say to that "I fired a few shots from my ass". It gets better, when Rambo comes to Afganistan he says I'm no tourist with a straight face, I laughed till I pooped. Throughout this movie I dropped my pants many times to moon those freedom fighters, they can't even build a school but they can run around like goats all day long and fight
Those people who play Afganeese look like italians without suits hahahaha. I liked when russian soldier was dragging one of the afganeese by his hair, it turned out to be a lesson in ethics, the only language those muharajees understand. After, helping those people Rambo deserves a special treatment from russian tanks, russians should of tied his arms to one tank and his legs to another and start driving in different directions, see how tough he is... yes this movie taught us a great lessons - nothing

Summary: "Rambo 3 ???"
Review: of all the many reasons to hate this film, and there are MANY, but i won't list them all here; just the one that has always bothered me the most. The 1st movie was called "First Blood", the 2nd "Rambo: First Blood Part 2", so how did moviemakers EVER get away with the title "rambo 3"???!! that would as stupid as "the Omen", "Damien: Omen 2", and then calling the 3rd OMEN film "damien 3". there never should have never been a 3rd film w/ the rambo character, but if Hollywood really felt it necesary, then it should have been called by it's rightful title, "first blood part 3", NOT "rambo 3"!!! that is a tremendous insult to moviegoers intelligence everywhere. and the scary thing is, well, look at all the "good" reviews on here. THAT'S scary!!!
p.s.: in case i wasn't clear about what i was saying about the mistake in the title, just remember there never was a "Rambo", or "Rambo 2". It was "First Blood" (which is an extremely good film by the way), then the ill-conceived sequel, "Rambo: First Blood part 2". then came the abysmally bad "rambo III". it's on the same level of maturity as these recent "Freddy vs. Jason", and "Alien vs. Predator" films are on.

Review: One of the three best films in the RAMBO trilogy.

Summary: Just have to get this off my chest!
Review: Onreading luckylynx's review for this movie, I was quite simply disgusted by the over-awing ignorance it showed. When he talks about Rambo helping the Taliban 'enslave' the Afghan people, and later about how Afghanistan 'fell' to the freedom fighters(the people), I wonder if he has his head screwed on wrong. He seems to support the Soviet occupation, and the mass murder it entailed(even scarier when this particular facet of that war is so forcibly thrown in your face in the movie). Then he calls the freedom fighters 'jihadists'. The day risking your life to save your homeland from foreign invasion becomes an act of terrorism as luckylynx insinuates, is a sad day for mankind indeed. If the US fell to an imaginary superpower in the name of 'regime change', I would fight to the death. Not only Americans are patriots. When he then implies that the Afganistan was responsible for 911, my heart breaks at his lack of intelligence and/or moral fiber. The Taliban, although more repressive than we Westerners might like, had nothing to do with that nasty piece of work. Direct your anger at our 'friends' the Saudis, who sponored Osama. Calling the little kid an 'al Quaeda kid', is also extremely ignorant. Just had to get that off my chest.
