Summary: Cindy should stick to modeling.
Review: Sure, Cindy, you're pretty and all, but please--we prefer you when we don't have to hear you. I'd much rather see you for 5 seconds on the cover of Vogue than spend an 1 hour feeling embarrassed for you on the big screen.

Summary: Cheesy but....
Review: The acting is mechanical, and the plot was written by space aliens. Incredibly, there are some good points to the movie. The graphic violence alone is worth the money. There is also the mandatory love scene. It is basically an R-rated kid movie, because as far as the plot is concerned, it assumes the viewer is a brain-dead zombie who only responds to images of Cindy Crawford. Yes, that would be me. If you are a fan of hers, you just can't miss this brainless piece of.. entertainment. Seriously, it IS fun, but don't expect it to be a deep film. It is one of the shallowest movies ever made. And if those are KGB agents, then I am Michael Jackson.

Summary: this is what i have to say
Review: The sheer idiocy of Fair Game's plot actually rivals that of this year's low, The Mangler. Granted, in this brainless action flick, there aren't any man-eating refrigerators, but that's one of the few truly dumb things missing. Frankly, I didn't think any movie this year would make Assassins seem like a modicum of solid plotting and top-notch acting, but that was before I saw this. Bottom line: Fair Game is howlingly bad -- so awful, in fact, that it can actually be enjoyed on a certain level.

There's not much of a plotline worth talking about -- at least not one that's coherent or logical. Fair Game is basically one long chase punctuated by a sex scene. William Baldwin plays Max Kirkpatrick, a cop. Crawford is Kathryn McQuean, a lawyer. The two don't like each other, but he saves her life anyway. Then he does an encore, but this time a few of his buddies get killed. So, the pair of them end up on the run from an ex-KGB heavy (interpreted with over-the-top gusto by Steven Berkoff) and his Russian mob. It's not clear why the bad guys want Kathryn dead, and things becomes even more confusing when, after trying for two-thirds of the movie to kill her, they suddenly change their minds and decide to capture her for interrogation.

The single bright spot in Fair Game -- and it's low-wattage at best -- is that the action scenes are nicely choreographed. And there are quite a few of them, because they have to camouflage a lame story and atrocious dialogue. We get treated to such wonderfully corny lines as: "I'm getting bored with your petty incompetence", "It would be embarrassing to be killed by an amateur", and "I can't afford the luxury of a conscience". The level of acting, by the way, is perfect for delivering those kinds of phrases. As always in this type of picture, the leads trade one- liners, but there's no zing to any of those duds. In fact, that last word ("duds") pretty much sums up this film. Undoubtedly, all those who mistakenly pay good money to see Fair Game will come out crying "Foul!"

Summary: Decent action movie with super Cindy
Review: The story is illogical. Cindy is a busy lawyer and Baldwin is the cop and some ex KGB agents with absurd reasons are hunting her down. But who really cares about the plot once the chase begin. Cindy Crawford's good look is enough to sit through this silly but rather enjoyable action movie. Another bonus is you can see a glimpse of Cindy changing her T shirt and a brief love scene. The downside, the DVD is in full screen and no other special features. I also bought a region 3 version and it is in wide screen and also in Dolby 5.1 and it is playable in region 1 players so if you insist of having to see this movie in WS you can get the region 3 version instead.

Summary: ATOMIC BOMB !
Review: This "thing" shouldn't even had been called a "movie", so bad it is! MAybe if you watch it as a comedy about action movies, you'll enjoy it a little bit.

Summary: UNFFAIR GAME ...
Review: THis an unfair game to Baldwin, who didn't deserve this failure, and a fair game to Crawford and the producers, who taught a history with no script and badly directed could hold itself only in the laurels of a beautiful and famous model... The audience is not so stupid as they think...

Summary: Rather lame
Review: This film isn't really very good at all.For some reason at the beginning of the film, some Russian bad guys start shooting at Cindy Crawford's character while she is jogging along a street.Yet from here and through the rest of the film we are never really told why this is so,so the plot makes very little sense indeed. All we see is some Russian villains chasing the two main characters, but no explanation is ever given as to what their motives are for doing this. So,with the plot making next to no sense,we're not off to the best of starts. But,even without a decent story to guide it along, this movie has problems. The acting from all concerned is quite laughably awful. They all sound camper than Walpole, and are sending the characters they're imitating from classic action thrillers up.They sound as if they are reading their lines from large cue cards placed in front of them. And the character development truly stinks,Baldwin's character getting quite choked up about the deaths of others in the film without the viewer ever really understanding who they were or why he was so riled about them going. Some of the action is quite enthralling, there are some terrific explosions here and there... and there is quite a funny scene involving some phone wires getting crossed with a black store clerk. It would be possible to say all that was mentioned above were not really to be expected from an action movie, but unfortunately,to care about the outcome of the good/bad characters ,this is not so.Overall,a very misguided,or from my angle,mis-glided effort.

Summary: Female attorney becomes the target of assassins
Review: This is a good movie. Despite what "official" critics may say, Cindy Crawford is actually very believable as an attorney. As expected, the action scenes are very good (lots of explosions, mayhem). The scene at the computer store was also very realistic. Plotwise, there was a lot of intrigue - only near the end do you figure out why and who are after the main character.

Summary: such a bad film
Review: This is one of the worst movies of all time. The plot is so cheesy and the acting and action is so stupid. The romance is not good because there is no chemestry.

Summary: An excellent action movie!
Review: This movie is not as bad as the other reviewers mentioned. You have to give Cindy Crawford a hand considering this was her movie debut and William Baldwin played an excellent cop as well. If you are looking for a good action movie to entertain on a weekend, you won't go wrong with this one. The plot is good, there are plenty of action and what a pleasure to see Cindy on the big screen! Give it a try, you won't be disappointed.
