Summary: He's got a big WHAT???
Review: Nowhere to Run is absolutely stunning. Jean Claude van Damme plays a role of an escape convict who landed in a fatherless family that draws to their affection to him. The dining table scene was just awakening when the children discussed about his big peepee. But mother, Rosanna Arquette utters in and said was average. Stimulating as it seems to be, the skinny dipping scene in the lake was a great model shot of Van Damme. Hoooh! What a bud! Rosanna Arquette, although irresistible in her great looks, played a lonely mother. I mean real lonely and surely got what she's longing for. Great action flick! I give it 5 stars.

Summary: Only Thing Van Damme Made Worth Mentioning
Review: Since the 90's Van Damme's career has gone from bad to worse. Because of his limited acting he joined the ranks of Stallone and Schwarzenneger as an action hero. After over a decade of making plotless films, Nowhere to Run is the only film Van Damme should list on his resume. For the first time fans could take him seriously and it was refreshing not seeing him in mid air balancing a plane on one foot and a horse on the other. This is a good, uncomplicated film for movie buffs, Van Damme fans especially. Though a lot of them won't appreciate the lack of superficial action. Van Damme finally did something right when he took part in this movie. Unfortunately he followed this film up with a long list of wrongs that killed his career.

Summary: 4 stars for a van Damme movie anyhow!
Review: This is a must for any van Damme fan. Tony Keogh obviously doesn't understand the nature of a van Damme movie if he thinks the direction of the plot makes it a good JCvD movie or not. Okay so the plot sits still after he arrives at the farm and understands that Arquette is trying to be evicted from her property by the big bad company, but so what? Van Damme is at his best when the plot is kept simple! Believe me a true JCvD fan will not be disappointed with 'Nowhere To Run'. 4 JCvD stars.

Summary: Well Done Hero Role!
Review: This was a perfect vehicle for Van Damme. A poor woman is being threatened by a wealthy businessman from the local town It becomes Van Damme's duty to protect the poor lady and her kids. Van Damme has his share of problems out of the bad guys also.As usual he is able to overcome all of the forces of evil. As is the case with any Van Damme film there is nonstop action. Van Damme puts on a good demonstration of his karate skills. Van Damme has to overcome overwhelming odds. The forces of evil are many. The movie has a pretty decent plot. The acting in this movie is not that bad either. Watch this movie if you like action. It is your type of film.

Summary: BEST DAMME MOVIE EVER!!!!!!
Review: This was such a well made movie and i don't understand why JCVD doesn't do more movies like this! They made JCVD more human than he was in films like Universal Soldier and Bloodsport because he was not the "i will kick your ass any day" guy. He was the "i will kick your because i have to". It also had an ending that the others didn't, but i won't spoil it for you. I just love this movie, JCVD's best work!

Summary: Best Van Damme Movie Ever!
Review: Well first of all I never really liked Van Damme's movies, well it's not so much that I didn't like them but it was pretty much the same thing over and over again...he would beat up people. However, this movie had a different story line. It wasn't only an action movie, but a drama as well. I think that he did a great job potraying the character and he really took on the role of the "father" for the little boy. I think he did a great job with that, since when you looked at him, you could tell that he wanted to be part of that family. I think he should do more movies like this, and it is definetely worth seeing/buying...you'll enjoy it :). So don't wait any longer, BUY it. Oh and this one isn't only for guys...my mom saw it with me and she enjoyed it as well. I believe females will enjoy this one as well.
