Rating: Summary: that kevin baon is the greatest actor of all time. Review: KEVIN BACON AS YOU KNOW IN THE MOVIE AS VIC HE IS THE GREATEST
Rating: Summary: Fun Flick Review: OK--so it's not a great film theatrically--who cares? This is one of the few films out there that fulfills that need to see the great outdoors. Sadly, Hollywood is pathetic when it comes to making movies about outdoor adventure and the common "Joe" (except for "The Edge", "The River Wild" and "Cliffhanger" to name a few). The classic 80's soundtrack featuring The Cult, Bruce Hornsby, and others make it even better... This movie is a part of my childhood memory, and for a long time was impossible to get, because it was out of print on VHS. I was so excited to learn it was being released on DVD with new packaging. I will definitely be buying it.
Rating: Summary: AWESOME MOVIE! Review: Sorry ya'll but in my opinion I think this movie is awesome and I think Kevin Bacon looks great as a creepy guy. His character looked creepy in Sleepers. He does a fantastic job playing it! I think he's a good actor but the rest of the guys didn't do a great job but it's still a good 80's flick. If you hadn't seen this movie yet go rent it or buy it. You will enjoy it. It does come on HBO or TNT a lot so you can try to catch it on those channels. Like I said this movie is awesome and it does deserve a 5 star rating!
Rating: Summary: One of the 80's best!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Review: This is a great movie!! It's just to bad that it did'nt get more attention. If you see this movie on T.V.,get some popcorn, sit back, and enjoy yourself. Don't try to pick it apart. It is a MOVIE for crying out loud!!! It's not supposed to be about real life!!!!!
Rating: Summary: Excellent Study of Male Bonding Review: This is a movie for anyone who remembers the bonds formed with friends, when a camping trip "goes wrong." It is a story of male bonding, and how boys can discover hidden strengths when confronted by adversity. Forget the absurdity of carrying a canoe on a backpacking trip in the mountains (an addition, not in the original script.) The story is in the relationships, and how they develop.

Rating: Summary: Sorry but I like this movie Review: This is one movie that I like with Kevin Bacon, because he isnt such a pretty Boy and he is a jerk in it. Plus the cast is pretty awesome (Corey haim Baby!) Anyway, you gotta at least watch it. If you like the wilderness and camping you might like it!
Rating: Summary: The best "B" movie I've ever seen Review: This movie is definately not Blockbuster/Oscar material but how many films that do well in the theaters really are? As long as you know ahead of time that you will be seeing a "B" movie with some "A" list stars out in the woods doing some male bonding you'll love it. Remember this was made in the 80's before Kevin Bacon really hit it big and when Sean Astin was a hot commoditiy among teen and pre teen girls like me. It also stars "Boner" from the tv show "Growing Pains" and the assistant director is Kevin Renolds who went on to direct "Robin Hood Prince of Thieves" and other blockbusters. With a better script and some marketing this could have been an 80's hit. The scenery is breathtaking, the action harrowing at times, the soundtrack rocks with Bruce Hornsby, Journey and others. It really makes you want to go camping, breath in the fresh air and enjoy God's beautiful creation. If you were a child of the 80's and haven't seen this flick get it ASAP.
Rating: Summary: "Camp Bacon" Review: This movie is simply terrible. Kevin Bacon is best described as "creepy" in his role as a feeble-minded camp counselor who leads a small sausage party of spoiled brats through the wilderness. It's a very "touching" coming of age film. There's the charming 'group pee' scene, the standard 'sneaking the porno mag from the convenience store' scene and lots of melodramatic 80s rock to heighten the mood. Served with a healthy dose of homoeroticism, one has to wonder which "whitewater" the title refers to! Almost every aspect of the movie is so poorly done (the cinematography is its saving grace) that it would make great cannon fodder for an episode of Mystery Science Theater 3000.
