Summary: THE great underappreciated American comedy.
Review: Has anyone noticed how funny this movie is? From the sanitation/sanitarium mixup to Tony's first turn on the dance floor to his bathtub of Olympic proportions to the immortal "Say hello to my leetle friend," the script (by Oliver Stone) is a riot. The question is, Is it SUPPOSED to be a riot? I have to think yes.

Summary: Miami Beach man, Miami Beach!
Review: My husband and I have done research on the apartment complex where Tony and Hector exchanged a little more than words (a little blood and coke). It's on South Beach in the legendary Ocean Drive and is presently a "Johnny Rockets." To this day, you'll still see the stairs leading up to the door where Manny blew the jalousies to smithereens. Of course South Beach has improved much since the 1980's, thanks to the War on Drugs (and a little light and paint).

On a side note, don't you just love Marta? =)

Summary: Is this what it's all about, Manny?
Review: I often wondered how it was that The Godfather has consistently managed to overshadow Scarface. Don't get me wrong, the Godfather series are excellent films that can only be described as gems in the genre, and are certainly as big a part of American cinema as classics like Citizen Kane and others. But while the Godfather series were an example of superior filmmaking and excellent dramatic examples of fine cinema, I always felt that Scarface painted a picture of a more believable life of a startup criminal - from the streets, to the pinnacle of power, then down - spiraling, crashing.
True, the timeline of Scarface is often a blur. And cinematically, it is probably below the polished gem that is The Godfather. But Scarface is a bit more believable and is not quite so "dry", for the lack of a better term.
It is a tumultuous, and for its time, controversial film that shines time and time again at each viewing. And if history has taught us anything, it's that it's these kind of movies that will cling to one's mind and leave a lasting impression.

Summary: Gangster movies at their best
Review: This film is about the rise and fall of Cuban refugee Tony Montana who came to Miami in the early 80's. Pacino is great, as are all the actors. The film is shot in typical 80's style. The film keeps you interested from beginning to the end. The finish where Montana comes to his end perhaps can be considered one of the best filmed endings amongst gangster films.

Summary: Best Movie Ever
Review: I think this movie is one of the greatest movies ever made.
I love this movie. Al Pacino does an amazing performance. I think this was his greatest role ever. When I first saw this movie it blew my mind. I made a deal with my dad today and the deal was if I jumped of a huge cliff into the water, he would buy this movie for me. If you havn't seen this movie you must see as soon as possible. It's a great movie.

Summary: My Scarface ReviewL
Review: I gave this move a 5 rating, because i think this movie is the best movie that Pacino has worked on. I feel that Scarface is the best movie ever made about the subject it talks about. And its just a classic gangster movie. Every one who likes movies should watch this movie because its one of the best movies ever. The first time I seen this movie i felt in love with it and i just had to watch it again and again. This movie perfectly describes the life of a Cuban refugee who started at the bottom of the mountain, but as time passed he started moving up on the mountain and finally reached the top. Tony Montana did stuff his own way never taking nothing from nobody and always doing what he thought was right. But at the end doing stuff his own way cought up to him and he lost all he ever loved his sister and his own life. I really recommend this movie because I think its the the best.

Summary: A movie with no equal
Review: Pacino at his very best. I think every American has seen this movie so there is no need to write a review on it. This must be placed in every DVD collection no matter what kind of
movie-genre you like. The last half-hour is the best piece of cinema i think i will ever see.
