Summary: Surprise, surprise!
Review: I'm not a big fan of action movies. Blood and chaotic scenes don't disturb me too much, but I don't particularly find them thrilling either. I watched this movie, like many of you, expecting a so-so experience. However, the movie delivered many surprises for me. Certainly the plot and Seagal were as "traditional" as ever, but it was good nonetheless. I was extremely impressed with DMX's performance, and I think he has a genuinely good acting ability. Also, while the movie was no comedy, there were a lot of humorous parts (the character T.K. comes to mind...). Anyway, if you are tolerant of some needless gore, you may be able to enjoy this movie as I did.

Summary: Amazingly cliche
Review: Exit Wounds is a truly stunning movie -- stunning in that it is so completely without an original thought in its head. Seagal does his usual steely-faced, teeth-gritting, eyebrows narrowing "acting" (re: it's Seagal doing, well, Seagal). The most amazing aspect of Exit Wounds is the blatant rip-off of one-liners from other more notable movies. It is also incredibly violent, with a lot of blood for blood's sake. The movie is obviously geared towards the braindead teen- and 20-something and in that sense it succeeds in spades. Exit Wounds also happens to have every Cop Movie cliche in the book. It's quite amazing how they were able to fit in so many cliches in such a short period.

Summary: Seen Better Days to my Regret
Review: This film starts out so well that I thought it was going to be one of Steven Seagal's better outings. Unfortunately as the film unfolds it loses focus on the Seagal character in a plot that wanders all over the place and is totally ridiculous even for this genre. Numerous press reports had stated that Seagal was way out of shape and he had to lose quite a bit of weight to get back in shape for this role. Unfortunately he still looked out of shape and actually sympathetic for it. This film is a big disappointment.

Summary: pretty good but not watchable
Review: yeah i thought this movie was good it had enough action in it and blood and gore, the best part was when seigal's boss crashes and goes through the windsheild smashing her head that was coool and it was in slow mo too! one thing that i dind't like was that dmx all of a sudden from nowhere becomes good!
i thought, whaaattt? he looked better being the bad guy
besides seigals cheap acting the movie was good.

Summary: DORRELL'S REVIEW ON EXIT WOUNDS
Review: I saw the movie, then got the DVD to watch the Making Of and it was terrific. Steven Seagal reappears after taking a short break in this action packed flick with DMX, Michael Jai White (Spawn)
I have seenthis movie three times and i never get tired of watching it. This is Steven Seagal's best movie yet.DMX has just got to keep it up.

Summary: Steven Seagal is back!
Review: Wow! I was really suprised and entertained by "Exit Wounds". This is Seagal's best movie to date, surpassing "Under Siege". While this is not a great film it has numerous exciting action scenes and some funny comedic moments. It also plays against Seagal's tough guy image, by having his character sent to anger managment classes, which leads to some funny comedy. Fans of hardcore Seagal might be dissapointed there is less of his Aikido mastery in this film and more shooting and car chasing. His aikido is used in a few scenes, not to mention a really cool quasi sword fight at the end of the film. Seagal by no means is a good actor, but here in "Exit Wounds" he seems to be taking himself less seriously than in his previous movies. Seagal has also lost some wieght since his last movie he is noticably thinner and leaner. The supporting performances by DMX and Tom Arnold are good as well, Tom arnold hasn;t had a role this good since "True Lies" he adds some funny comic releif to the film. Rap star DMX is the real suprise he gives the best performance in the film and shows that he has some serious acting chops, a very pleasant suprise, like the film itself, one of my favorites from 2001. Awesome action!Check it out.

Summary: The best movie of 2001!
Review: I saw the movie, then got the DVD to watch the Making Of and it was terrific. Steven Seagal reappears after taking a short break in this action packed flick with DMX, Michael Jai White (Spawn), Tom Arnold, Isaiah Washington and Anthony Anderson, who was the life of this movie. Anthony was funny, in fact I think he was the glue that kept the film and characters together.
Summary: Orin Boyd (Steven Seagal) hits rock bottom when he gets thrown out of his precinct 21 and into the worst precinct called 15. He starts off bad and gets worse making enemies from Commander Mulcahy (Jill Hennessy) all the way to the mens locker room and his nightmare begins when he busts an undercover cop called Montini and gets demoted to traffic and ends up in a rage management class where he meets Henry Wayne (Tom Arnold)a TV host, who is really annoying! (Tom was great for the part!)

So whilst all his is happening Latrell Walker (DMX) sets up another meeting with Montini to buy up alot of drugs only Latrell doesn't appear to be who he says he is. When Orin catches up with the help of his new partner George (Isaiah Washington) and Henry he learns that there are some dirty cops up to no good and he seems to be the right guy to stop them. The action scenes and stunts were terrific and I really expected something to happen between Mulcahy and Orin, but watch the movie and find out why nothing happens. Terrific all around, I wonder if they are thinking of a sequel... The title of the movie has absolutely NOTHING to do with the film and the DVD is worth the buy instead of the vhs to see the Making of and an interview with Anthony Anderson.

Summary: Pretty good fighting scenes+ Great comedy= Tite flick
Review: All you talk about in this movie is Steven Seagal, Steven Seagal, Steven Seagal. Sounds like the Sixers. Iverson, Iverson, Iverson and another name once in a while. But like the Lakers in the championship, there were big contributors to the movie(roleplayers) that made it what it was. A winner

Action: Steven Seagal only has two moves. But with modern technology, it made Seagal look like a good fighter. At the end he fought Michael Jai white who I think is a lot better than Seagal. The scene was pretty tite. Steven Seagal was ok overall.

Acting and all that: DMX shwon me that he can really act. I think this is his third movie that he's been in. But Drag-On who made his acting debut in this movie shown a lot of potential. This kid can really act. Ruff Ryders Camp got some good actors.

Comedy: Tom Arnold was real funny. I don't usually laugh at Tom Arnold for some reason. Him and Anthony Anderson at the end of the movie was perhaps the funniest segment in any movie done in 2001. Anthony Anderson was hysterical. Every movie he does, he has me laughing. This guy is truly funny. Those guys with the tazer were stupid. It wasn't funny. But comes to think of it, it's funny. When they were at that Anger Managment thing, and Steve broke the desk cause he couldn't get out. He showed that he could be funny sometimes.

Best part: When the guy took out his shotty and popped the one dude, and was like. YOUR FIRED~!!

Overall: This was one of the best movies in 2001. I really did enjoy it alot. Definte "MUST GET". You'll love it.
