Summary: End of Accuracy
Review: Typical Schwarzenegger action movie. Plot based on the threat of Satan gaining control over earth - from Revelation 20:7, which says Satan will be freed after 1000 years. Somehow script decides that's a thousand years from 999. Also, script ignores Revelation as it goes on to say Satan will be freed only briefly before being returned to his prison in a lake of burning sulfur. Obviously, can't expect too much accuracy here, but when movies use biblical references, I'm always more satisfied if the story fits with more than one verse at a time.

Summary: Arnold Returns With a Bang!
Review: End of Days is, quite simply, one of the all time best movies ever made. Great acting (Arnold did a surprisingly great job, Gabriel Byrne was wonderful), great special effects, great musical score, great directing, witty, intelligent, meaningful. End of Days is AWESOME!Enjoy. -PFC

Review: Absolutely terrible film. Hyams is normally a great director, but he should have seen the stink of this ugly film a mile away. Schwarzenegger's efforts to act border on the comical, and the rest of the cast has nothing to do but stand around and either die or make deals with Satan. I hope no one's soul is in jeopardy after this junk.

Summary: Quite a good horror flick
Review: All in all this wasn't a bad little horror flick. Arnie has done better but at least in this film at least he acts well, giving a convincing performance as a burnt out cop confronted with the supernatural in the form of Gabriel Byrne who is deliciously evil as Satan in a human form. The plot isn't all that complicated following the lines of - Girl is born, destined to be bride of Satan, Satan turns up in 1999 ready to find bride and impregnate her so bringing about the end of days, hence the title. Arnie's job is to protect the girl, played ably by Robin Tunney (The Craft), whilst at the same time trying to fight Satan as a mere mortal with no weapons other than faith; something he lacks after the death of his wife and child a few years previously. Add to this Rod Steiger (In the Heat of the Night) as a Catholic Priest, Miriam Margolyes (Romeo and Juliet) as a servant of Satan and you have a film that is well acted and reasonably suspenseful. The special effects are pretty good too, watch out for the hand through the head scene, it's fast but gruesome. "End of Days" certainly won't be one of those films that attains cult status like "The Exorcist" but it holds its own as a horror film, and Arnie and the rest of the cast give quality performances throughout. What more can you ask from a film?

Review: I dont care what they have said about this movie, it is one of his best. Good VS Evil... and oh no... They even mention GOD in the movie. I found this to be uplisting and a great movie.

Summary: Its an action film, who needs a good plot?
Review: Well Arnold did it again. This was an excellant action movie. The explosions were spectacular and the sound blew me away. I loved every minunte of it. Almost. There were a few scenes that didn't add to the story and nothing was blown up so I wondered why they were in there. The special features were great on the DVD. I always love it when they put music videos on them. If you want a great action movie I highly recomend this. If you are looking for a religious movie you better look somewhere else; Stigmata was good.

Review: Hey no one on earth watches an Arnie Action film for perfection etc. You're wasting your time. Watch this film only if you want to see the worlds toughest hero blasting and killing his way through ppl,demons etc. Dont expect any classy dialogue but do expect some fantastic one liners and we all know no one says those Arnie One Liners better than.....well......ARNIE As you probably now , Arnie is onboard the Terminator 3 project. I cant wait for it. HE IS STILL THE BEST ACTION STAR ON THE PLANET

Summary: simply boring and bad acting
Review: if you compare this to arnis ohter action movies, this is one of the worst. I loved Terminator, True Lies, Total Recal and Eraser. This time, arni tries to play a deeper character and totally fails. You don't believe him a single scene, his austrian accend is just funny (first time i saw him in english). also the story and the directing are just average - it bores you right from the beginning - you don't buy the plot. Only david byrne's acting is quite amusing, but he has only two or three scenes of dialoge, where he can't develop a deep Satanic character. He can't compete with al pacino in any way. So to sum this up - this movie is about the same quality as Last Action Hero, forget about it.
