Rating: Summary: This is my favorite movie because of all the sexy bod's! Review: If you're not sure about buying this movie, you shouldn't have a doubt in the world! It's got high impact tow-in surfing, hott guys, & some great trick riders as well. Shane Dorian is one of my favorite surfers, so I love to see him finally get into something big.
Rating: Summary: Great insight into how surfers live for the wave! Review: This movie has some incredible sceens of waves and surfing. If you have ever been to Hawaii, or lived there you will appreciate how much the ocean effects your life. The film gives insight to the overall carefree life of the wandering surfer who might sacrafice all for the great wave. Although many feel this film isn't realistic, they are only cheating themselves. This is die hard surfering.
Rating: Summary: stunning, breath-taking images; unique, driving score Review: I saw this at the movies and have wanted a copy ever since. But, this price is outrageous, even if priced for rental. As much as I liked it and would like my own copy, I will wait until the studio lowers the price. And with this information, I will also NOT rent it.
Rating: Summary: If you surf, go see it! Review: The acting was sufficient to get the poorly written scripts point across. Girls will love Shane Dorian. Look for the symbolism within the films advetures. A must for surfers. All the actors are actually surfers unlike most of the others movies within the surfing genre.Beautiful images that will stay with you. Good flick! Don't judge surfers by this movie though... we don't all take ourselves this serious.
Rating: Summary: Surf Junkies Rejoice! Review: From the opening sequence when all you hear is the deep rumblings of some ominously heavy surf to Dorian's last wave at Cabo you can expect to see some of today's best surfers riding some of the most challenging waves in surfing history. This film is the first (and only one I know of) that covers the conflict between "traditional paddle into it" surfers and the "tow in" surfers that brave Hawaii's outer reef breaks. The plot line is pretty thin -- but the quality of surf photography is outstanding and the soundtrack is first rate. I would whole heartedly recommend this movie to anyone who has ever even thought of surfing.
Rating: Summary: THE MOST MOVING CINIMEATOGRAPHY I HAVE EVER SEEN Review: Never before have a film's images captured me so completely as in In God's Hands. And, of course, it's damn fun to fantasize about being a totally dedicated, world traveling, surfer dude. This is my favorite movie of all time!
Rating: Summary: The Next Best Thing To Endless Summer II Review: With great pro surfers and breaks that are breathtaking, this movie captures the art of surfing. It just doesn't focus on shredders, but true wave riders that capture the true meaning of surfing and who receive the spiritual side of the sport. With breaks from Hawaii to Bells Beach, Australia, "In God's Hands" is the best surfing movie yet.
Rating: Summary: a must see for wave-riders, athletes, and travelers alike Review: this film, above and beyond its unreal cinematography, captures the quintessence of travel. the players are athletes, travelers, and searchers. their story, albeit fictional, is real. i have been on the boat and so could you be (see the filem and you will understand). yo_da_man says check it out.
Rating: Summary: Great surf movie with ambiance and a cool story line. Review: I like a good surf movie every now and again. This is a well done movie with amazing cinematography, sound and music. The acting is pretty good considering these guys aren't professional actors. Their acting comes from the heart. A great story about going on a quest to the ends of the earth to find the one thing that makes you go; the classic hero's journey. Where can I get the soundtrack???
Rating: Summary: Cool Review: Not since the Endless Summer movies, has there been a release of a film which has captured the essence of surfing so uniquely, while incorporating action, adventure, and even building characters and a bit of a plot along the way. Every surfer, boarder and breathing human being should see this movie.
