Summary: "What?"
Review: I found myself saying that very thing through several portions of the movie, most notably the end, which is a stream of dark images which give the impression of movement without clearing signifying anything. Can anyone say "sound and fury?"It is loud, obnoxious, full of new and old Aerosmith tunes (and I'm sure this had nothing whatsoever to do with Liv being in the film; wink wink), and overlong. The score is truly horrible. One of the worst I've ever heard: period. I found myself groaning every time a cue rang up. With the exception of the faces on the video box, all of the characters are cardboard cutouts. I really didn't care whether any of them lived or died. In fact, I came away with the feeling that if this movie was to represent the state of the world as we know it, let the asteroid come on in. It can only help. Why am I giving it two stars? Because the scenes of the asteroids striking Earth are phenomenal. Great graphics. It's the rest of the movie that's lacking, not only the dialogue scenes back on Earth which you would think would be intended to forward the plot and develop characters, but most especially once they arrive at the asteroid, where I truly could not tell what was going on: literally. I am not imagining things. Whenever there was an action sequence on or near the asteroid, I could not discern what was happening on screen, and everyone I saw the film with had the same problem. It would appear as if a character had died, but suddenly he would be walking around. That ship that looked like it just blew up? Apparently it's salvageable, and should be up and running within ten... fifteen minutes, tops. This is the problem with the film. It's great if you want something loud and obnoxious with the occasional great explosion sequence; but I recommend it only for dullards who don't like any thought processes to be involved with their moviegoing. On the other hand, while the DVD will not be 16x9 enhanced (this IS Disney), it should still be a great demo disc for your system.

Review: Armageddon is the best movie I have seen in a long time. I saw it 3 times in the theater and loved it each time. Ben Affleck doesn't hurt the movie, either :)

Review: This movie was great from beginning to end. It had non-stop action, comedy, romance , and a sense of family all in one. The supporting cast was just as good as Willis, Thornton, and Affleck. I am adding Armageddon to my list of favorite movies of all time.

Summary: The worst movie of the summer
Review: This movie is a compleat insult to my intlegence, and my will to be entertained. Bad acting, worse scripting, and logic flaws you could drop an asteroid through, this movie WILL disipoint. Mr. Bay sould really go back to directing school. I couldn't tell what was going on half the time because the camera moved every two seconds. And why the hell does everything blow up in this movie? I don't know. Maybe one of the ten screenwriters does. Overall this movie is booring and pointless crap. If Amazon.com let me give it 0 stars I would.

Summary: It could happen
Review: To start off with, Can it Happen ? probably. Alot of people I spoke with said "The movie is far-fetched" I reply, "we never had it happen so who really knows how the world would react to solve it or stop it" My personal thoughts about the movie is INCREDIBLE. The special effects, the acting, and two people ( Willis & Afflect ) putting their diffrences both proffesionaly & personal aside. The script was well written Though I do imagine that if it were to happen for real, I think the men would be more assertive and less screwing around. No one can dispute the special effects, They alone were outstanding. The Acting, You have such diverse group of people all with diffrent personalities and yet they all work as a team. I enjoyed the movie very much and purchased it for my collection. As a big fan of Sci-Fi, Armageddon fits right in.
