Summary: Ugh
Review: Why a number 4? Instead of trying something fresh with the series, we get retread material. It's so obvious throughout this marketing-scheme of a movie that the only intention is to give the audience what the filmmakers believe they want. The results are gratuitous scenes of Joe Pesci being loud and unfunny, playing faithfully on the beaten-to-death "They #$%! you at the drive-thru" bit, along with Chris Rock throwing in his motormouth, all featuring dialogue that isn't nearly as fresh as the first two films. Give credit for the taming of Riggs' character and to Jet Li, a truly talented martial arts expert who steals every scene he is in.

Summary: I loved this movie!
Review: I think that this movie is just as good as the rest of the Lethal Weapon movies. It had a lot more humor, which was a plus, thanks to Chris Rock. The action was great and the star chemistry is one of the best reasons to watch. I recomend this to anybody who is an action fan.

Summary: The best of the 4 is number 4!
Review: No signs of slowing down in the Lethal Weapon saga. Gibson and Glover are having the time of their lives and excel in this fourth episode. The addition of Chris Tucker is very smart and gives the Lethal Weapon concept new blood and lifts the weight a bit off Gibson and Glover. Very funny and entertaining movie + great action scenes.

Summary: An INCREDIBLE martial artist who makes Mel Gibson look bad.
Review: There is no way that Richard Donner and his cast of "Lethal Weapon" can possibly equal that magical first film--the best action film of the 80's. But I found this one to have a better villain than that corrupt cop in the third film. Hong Kong action star Jet Li is one incredible martial artist. I've never seen this kind of ability in an action star. Not even from Jackie Chan. Jackie Chan argues in his biography that a trained Hong Kong martial artist can make an American action star look bad. Jet Li demonstrates that with a vengeance; he is way FASTER and ACROBATIC. (If he were to fight Gibson for real, he would kill him.) And in one scene, he rips the slide right off Gibson's 9 mm Beretta sidearm. If that was a real Beretta, Li is INCREDIBLY STRONG. But that isn't enough to give this Lethal Weapon film the highest review. Joe Pesci's Leo Goetz has degenerated from a lovable rascal (in the second film) to an annoying jerk in this one. And why doesn't Renee Russo's Lorna Cole join Riggs and Murtaugh in the final confrontation? She has less to do than in Lethal Weapon 3.

Summary: GOOD, BUT NOT ENOUGH!!!!!!!!
Review: I didn't think that it was *that* good. It was okay, but it just didn't seem like the old ones. Mel wasn't his old crazy self. And he couldn't fight in this one, I thought he was an ex-marine and trained in fighting. He was just a whimp in this one. I'm giving it three stars because I loved the end when Gibson and Glover fought with Jet Li.

Summary: GREAT FUN
Review: The fourth Lethal Weapon is a great time!!!,Gibson and Glover are funny with Rock and Pesci,The best scenes are at the end when Riggs and Murtagh fight Jet Li,pure fun.The only problem is some scenes are to much to swallow, like Riggs breaking the window of a car with his feet.

Summary: Average Action Movie........WAY above average DVD
Review: Lethal Weapon I and II should be rated as the BEST action buddy cop movies ever. I did not care for the last one, 3 and 4, because the bad guy seemed like real menace and the action seemed like copys of the first two. The DVD though for Lethal Weapon 4 is one of the best buys out there. Packed with ton of extras that are worth watching......such as cut footage from all the Lethal Weapons and tons of previews....it makes it one of he best DVDS out there.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Packed with action and comedy.
Review: Chalk up another success for Mel Gibson and Danny Glover. Most sequels don't live up to the first one or two. This one does. Chris Rock is hilarious and Mel and Danny display their usual genious acting abilities.

Summary: Best overall movie
Review: This is a classic. It is a simple and realistic movie. Its not one of those kinds of movies where one person saves the world. (Like our savior Bruce. Can you imagine he postponed The Last Day!! Even more he died for us?!!). LW4 touches many aspects of movies/life. Comic, martial arts, action, love (family) and so on.

I also liked the political approach of this movie. -It did not have to be a high-budget movie to drive its point. -Mel and Glover are clearly giving in to age and I love the way the movie introduced the future actors like Chris Rock and Jet Li. Its clear that WE youngsters are kicking! I had never seen Li. I worshipped Jackie Chan but I think I'll re-think that. Jet Li's role was great. Everyone in this movie was fairly empowered.

-The promotion of GM's Pontiac. "Does GM have a problem Chrysler merging with Daimler-Benz?" But too bad anyway no American car can outdo a German one. "If you cant beat them join them." The battle of the Pontaic and the Benz was really going to influence my opinion on this movie. Although at the end the Pontiac was on top (hey its an American movie!), we all know the german cars are tops.

-The Chinese and the rest of the world is waking up. America better do something about its laws.

THIS A GREAT MOVIE.

Summary: An insult to the series, the actors, the "industry".
Review: Had this been Lethal Weapon I, there would not have been any sequels
