Summary: Good plot & twists. Childish fight scenes. Very depressing.
Review: The plot is complicated. It covers many kinds of relationship: spouses, friends, siblings, parents and their children.
The title indicates exactly what the fighting looks like. The characters DANCED with their swords, they did not fight at all.
After their swords banged against each other 2 or 3 times, their bodies would explode into pieces or their hands and heads would be chopped off.
The mood is very sad from the beginning till the end. If you like to weep watching a movie, this is for you. I prefer Musa (another Korean Movie). Its fighting scenes are on par with top Hong Kong action films.

Summary: GREAT
Review: This film is superb!!! Dramatic, good action and well shot and acted. I thought this would be a GREAT film to showcase in the US to show westerners that there is more to life than JUST "Crouching Tiger", Now I LOVE Crouching tiger but there are other films that are just as good and breathtaking like this film. It is an epic film that is brillantly shot, well acted and has a well told story.

Summary: Style over substance...
Review: This is a beautifully filmed epic Korean film styled after the Chinese flying swordsman genre. It's the most ambitious film to come out of Korea yet budget-wise and it shows. The plot is lacking and simplified although it does contain some interesting twists of fate. All in all, it is an outstanding effort despite the flaws. Fans of Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon will surely get their money's worth with this film. Highly recommended.

Summary: Simply the Best
Review: This is the best action/love story I have ever seen! If I could have only one movie this would be it. Although my copy is subtitled I watch it all the time.I'm a action fan,and this movie really fits the bill.Every emotion you have will be put to the test.never boring , but griping, edge of your seat drama. The ending of this movie forever made it one of my favorites.Young boy meets young girl, they're inseparable until..........follow their journey to the end, you'll never regret it!!!!!!!!

Summary: Hate it or love it
Review: This movie appears to have no middle ground. You either hate it or love it. The movie does have its weaknesses in that it should be more like 3 hrs than 2 to fully develop the story. That said its still a great film.

Summary: My Donkey Still Has Not Recovered
Review: This movie is one of the greatest movies ever made. The cinemotography is outstanding, the fight scenes exellent, and yes, I teared up a little at the end. The plot is basically Romeo & Juliet, where Romeo goes a way and comes back as a master assasin and kicks some serious a**. I highly recommend this film to anyone who is a fan of Flying Swordsman Masterpieces.

Summary: Very good
Review: This movie was very good. At first I was very hesitant in watchig it; but as the movie began, I didn't stop it at all. If you like martial arts movies, amazing sword fights, a bitter love story, then this movie is for you!
The most impressive thing about this movie was it's creativity in story and fighting cheoreography. Very suprised that Koreans could make a movie equivalent to that of Hong Kong action films.
Way to go!

Summary: Best Korean Flick of ALL-TIME!
Review: What else can be said, this is the best stuff out of Korea in a long time. Kim Hee-Sun is beautiful in the lead role. Better action than 'Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon', but cut from the same mold. You will love this film!

Shin Jun-Ha and Hee-sun Kim play doomed lovers in a story of honor and betrayal. No happy endings in Asian action flicks (sorry)! This is the kind of film that just can't be made in the US. Non-stop wire-fu action, great soundtrack, beautiful asian babes and first class choreography. If you don't have 'asian fever' after seeing this (and CTHD) - you've got problems. BEST FILM OF THE YEAR! (no kidding)
