Rating: Summary: THIS MOVIE BLOWS Review: Batman Returns is easily the WORST of the Batman movies. Incoherent screenplay and totally boring and pointless throughout, this piece of garbage is overlong, and a total waste of time. I can't believe you morons think this film is great. It reeks big time. Burton really has NO CLUE about what makes Batman great. As a Batman fan, and a lover of the awesome Batman: The Animated Series(currently running on WB as The New Batman Adventures) Burton probably watched this animated rendering of the Dark Knight and kicked himself, wishing he could have had another chance. By the way, the only solid Batman movie is Batman Forever; it comes the closest to capturing the real Batman character and the adventure; but still in no way as good as the cartoon.
Rating: Summary: Another amazing movie by creative genius,Tim Burton Review: Batman(1989) was an awesome classic but this is also a great movie. The Penguin is just as irresistable a villain as the Joker was and Catwoman is a fox. This is a dark epic of amovie and any fan of penguins and the Penguin must see it!Oh yeah,Edward Scissorhands,Beetlejuice, and Nightmare Before Christmas are all really amazing as well!
Rating: Summary: This movie rocks Review: The reason I gave it 4 stars is because it's not as good as the first one. The movie is really good. If you liked the first Batman movie you will have to buy this one.
Rating: Summary: why did i only have to give it 5 stars?! Review: it deserves 10!!
Rating: Summary: Great Review: Those people who gave it one, two, or three stars need to be locked away and shot (well not really) because this movie was great
Rating: Summary: Not the best, not the worst, though too grotesque for kids Review: I am a huge Batman Fan, and I'm honest when I say that it's not very good. Too dark and gruesome for little bat-fans, but not meant for adult audience. Still, it's Batman, and you can't change the past. So, though Returns is not as good as the first, it's better than the worst, Batman and Robin. On a final note, even though the film is disappointing, the movie tie-in is good.
Rating: Summary: THE DARKNIGHT HAS RETURNED Review: When a deformed baby is caged and thrown to the sewer by his parents who would have gussed he would survive and return 33 years later to terrorize Gotham as the evil PENGUIN aided his evil red triangle circus gang and army of penguins BATMAN comes to stop the evil one which is in the end a brutal battle to the finish between bat and bird.
Rating: Summary: A review from Mr. Entertainment Lover Review: This is the second of the Batman series. Batman battles the Penguin and Catwoman. Penguin wants to become mayor and isn't against killing others to do it. What starts out as looking easy turns hard, once the Penguin starts framing Batman for murder and kidnapping. Soon Batman must not only just deal with the Penguin but also deal with getting away from the police. Another good and dark Batman movie.
Rating: Summary: FINALLY. 8 stars. Review: THANK you TIM BURTON. We needed this. Michelle Pfieffer's a screen-stealer...... It's perfect, it's dark, it's Batman. Everything after this fell down a very steep cliff...and will never rise again...unless -- BURTON -- DO YOU HEAR US? COME BACK!!!Keaton had so much chemistry with Pfieffer compared to the kansas-flat chemistry he had with Basinger. Face to Face--best theme song as well. This is more than just WORTH the by. Trust me... the ones who don't like this movie have something seriously against the blackness of Batman...and the truth behind it.
Rating: Summary: Damn. Review: HBO showed me a good movie for once and it wasn't the Devil's Advocate. Catwoman is incredible sexy, the way she SHOULD be, and looks better with blond hair -- raven doesn't work for her -- though the suit does. Batman's (Michael "dreamy" Keaton) far better than George Clooney, who's cute, but Emergency Room hardly spells out winged bat to the rescue. I never actually got to finish the movie, but the dark, haunting effect of the ending was enough for me to give it a good rating. Makes you wonder what the hell the directors were thinking when they converted the batman movies into a not-so-dark series. Alicia Silverstone and Chris O'Donnel are just not needed....Dr. Freeze was a bore as well -- Ivy can stay. she's got spark. All hail keaton -- how good can a guy look in a suit AND a rubber cape?
