Summary: THE TITLE SAYS IT ALL
Review: Tim Burton AGAIN directs this blockbuster box officxe smash hit. Micheal Keaton AGAIN dons his cape and cowl to save "GOTHAM" from NOT 1, BUT 2 super villains. Michelle Pfeiffer ENTICING as SEXY and ALLURING "CATWOMAN". Danny DeVito scene steals as a FANTASTIC "PENGUIN". Once again 5 STARS.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: YEAH, I REMEMBER THIS ONE TOO
Review: Although it wasn't as good as the first film, it is still a great movie. Danny DeVito is great as The Penguin.

Rating: 2 stars
Summary: This was such a boring movie................................
Review: I cannot believe how bad this movie was... I mean I liked the other Batman movies but this seems like such a bad movie. I cannot believe the stupid worthless scenes and the amount it frightened my child when we were watching it together.

Summary: Batman Returns is excellent film making
Review: Tim Burton, once again, does an outstanding job with Batman on the bigscreen. This picture has amazing camera shots, that are visually stimulating (pure eyecandy). Keaton is even better this time as Batman than in the first (but what's up with his Batsuit?). Pfeiffer and DeVito do fine jobs as the two villians, but unfortunately two villians are too much. This effort put out by Warner Bros. isn't the masterpiece the first one was, but it is DVD worthy.

Summary: Great movie!!!
Review: This movie is some kind of ride. Tim Burton brilliantly directs this movie. Keaton is the best Batman. Brilliant performances by Danny De Vito, Michelle Pfeifer, and Christopher Walken. This movie is just good as the original and in some ways better. Mesmerizing production design, much better than on the Schumacher films. Danny Elfman's greatest score. Critics have complained that "Batman Returns" has no real plot, and I agree. But who cares?! This is a great movie. One of the best ever made. EVER!!! I love the scenes between Keaton and Pfeifer, especially the one where they're dancing, and the Penguin crashes the party. Oh, and by the way... whoever said that this was the worst Batman film and that "Batman Forever" is better because it captures the spirit of adventure of the cartoon is dead wrong. Sorry kid, but the REAL Batman is the dark, brooding version of the comics. Here, Burton comes SO much closer to this than Joel Schumacher could.

Summary: One of the Best Films Ever Made
Review: I'm glad this Batman has the highest star average than the rest of them here at Amazon. Because I hadn't cared for Batman before watching this film, and I don't like the other Batman movies especially the last two. But this one happens to be one of my favorite movies of all time.

The characters are developed incrdibly well and are realistic. Micheal Keaton is excellent as Batman/Bruce. Pfifer is terrific as Selena/Catwoman, a woman who only after wearing a costume realizes that she's been wearing a mask her entire life. And DeVito is great as the penguin, a character who will forever resent the world for his unfortunate fate. The real villain though is Max, Christopher Walken's character. He represents all powerful people who are completely corrupted by power. There are some great one-liners in this movie, esp. from Pfifer and Walken. Just the right amount of humor here and there fits brilliantly.

The set designs are mesmorizing. It's a dark movie, and the sets go along with that. Not too colorful and they really convey the atmosphere. The sountrack and the theme song are perfect. I can't say enough about this movie. Simply excellent!!!

Summary: Catwoman is the best villian of all the Batman films
Review: Catwoman is the best villian of all the Batman films. I think that this is also the best Batman film. It is dark and edgy, but also has comedic points to it. Michelle Phiffer and Micheal Keaton are great together.

Summary: dissapointing
Review: this movie was dissapointing. Penguin is my favorite villan of batman. Tim burton ruined his funny image. he also dies!!!! The penguin was also sadistic and cold blooded. The one i'm used to is normal, formal, and funny. how sad.

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: Sequel that's better than Original
Review: Good sequel to the dark original has more color with both heros and villians. The story is developed better, and Catwoman was surprisingly developed. Could use improvements, but so do all the Batman films.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: A phicological ride! makes you think in who you rally are...
Review: In Batman Returns, Not only does the public see the wild action and visual efects. Also the phsicological thriller that makes you think who you really are and what is your real [personality, Think that for one moment yopu could live in Gotham City and be a personification of everithing that you like dresed up in a bad o good guy. To brake all the wall made by society and just go wild on your real personality. However the mask are always there, and always will be. Catwoman... Freing her selfe from her childhood fears, and the Pinguin just an outcast that is taking his revenge. really good soundtrack by Elfm,an a classic, no, a gothic classic JPC
