Summary: OVERALL GOOD, ASIDE FROM SOME CHEESY SCENES
Review: I--as a teenager girl went to see this movie in theatres...for one reason....heath ledger... :) I was expecting a bad movie, just some easy entertainment. I was suprised. The movie was actually well put together, regarding story lines, script and whatnot. The only too problems are a few cheesy scenes...which most movies have, so that can be overlooked, and the fact that this is set back in the time of knights, and jousting------and...it is set to 80's rock music. That kinda turns off the serious and noble mood of the movie. I would still recommened seeing it on a night out, its worth it.

Summary: Not Quite as Good
Review: Actually, despite what other reviewers have said, I found this movie quite boring and completely messed up. I mean, don't get me wrong. "Queen" may be last century's greatest band, but a bunch of Middle Age villagers clapping on the rhythm of "We Will Rock You" is not exactly my idea of a knight's tale.

I bet the only reason you'll get this kind of film is to see some action. Well, you'll be surely disappointed. Basically, two guys on a horse racing against each other. And this throughout the entire film! Quite disappointing considering that the knight's era, if I may use such term, encloses the most possibilities for action-oriented films.

Finally, some have mentioned how _romantic_ the film was. I suppose they're referring to the senseless poetic-wannabe passages of the script. For an unknown reason, some people consider that Old-English words put up in unusual order equal poetry. I bet poor Shakespeare is aching in his tomb at this desolating sight.

As to the main character, well, I didn't find him of the stature of a real hero. Actually, Paul Bettany, who plays the writer, steals pretty much all the show. The three stars are for him.

Summary: Great Movie
Review: I may be a bit bias when I say that this movie is one of the greatest ever made because of Heath Ledger. However, I love this movie for its content not just because of Ledger's pretty face and hard body. The jousting scenes are magnificent and the romantic element gets my heart pounding. Everytime I hear David Bowie's "Golden Years" I always think of this movie. It is definitely worth watching. This movie is a great date flick too because the guys love the action and the girls, well, they love Heath.

Summary: That Warm Fuzzy Feeling. . .
Review: This movie had everything a summer blockbuster needs: A fabulous cast of characters that stole the scene from each other with their wit; a soundtrack that made you want to fight or dance or laugh out loud; a reverse-Cinderella story that allowed Heath Ledger to conquer a stereotype much like Drew Barrymore did in EVER AFTER; a collection of themes like prejudice, injustice, individuality, and "The American Dream" of bettering one's lot in life.

This movie wasn't intended to be a history lesson. The sets and costumes looked good to me and I really don't care about the actual laws of the time or whether a young lady would have been allowed to dance like the heroine does.

If you want accuracy and intellectualism go find something else.

If you want a great film that leaves you feeling like you could do anything, anything at all, watch A KNIGHT'S TALE.

Summary: Just a fun fun way to spend two hours
Review: What a blast! Never be mentioned in the same breath as Casablanca or Citizen Kane; probably no Academy mention. But so entertaining! Yes the plot is predictable, but so well played out you WILL be on the edge of your seat: great, endearing cast, raucous action, so much fun. Wait until the end of the credits!

Summary: Raves for A Knight's Tale
Review: Excellent, romantic "good guy" conquers evil, flick. I wasn't sure I'd enjoy the movie during the initial 15-20 minutes, but was totally engrossed by the triumphant conclusion. Despite it's violent overtones, the jousting scenes were not overly graphic. Supportive characters were every bit as good and in some cases more lovable than the leads. Two thumbs up!

Summary: The Greatest Knight Movie Of All Time
Review: When I first went to see this movie, A Knights Tale, I thought it was going to be another one of those boring knight movies. I thought wrong. It kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time. The way that they mixed the music in was amazing. It has an awesome soundtrack that totally reflects upon the movie. The fighting sequences are some of the best I have ever seen. I strongly recommend this movie to anyone who likes the medieval time period and most other people will like it too.

Summary: An Awesome Movie!!
Review: I saw this movie at the sneak preview a week before it came out and then 4 times after that. I absolutely loved it. And, no, it's not just because I'm totally in love with Heath Ledger, but because the plot was great. I loved how the movie was set in medieval times but it was modernized. There were many funny scenes in it, along with serious, moving, ones. I recommend this movie to everyone, especially Heath lovers!!
