Rating: Summary: great Review: i love this movie. i believe it really helped angelina get her start. my best friend and i used to watch this almost everyday. i just can't help but love this movie even if it isn't the greatest thing ever created movie wise. it's just something you can enjoy over and over again
Rating: Summary: second time round:) Review: watched hackers in 1995, on laserdisc(remember those things?:) was an impressionable 12yearold, so go figure... i loved it!
finally got my hands on the dvd recently, and yeah... i know its totally NOT plausible, dont understand how there could have been actual hacker consultants in the making of the movie (see credits) what were they thinking???? yet... i still love it!:)
great soundtrack, johnny and angelina, excellent supporting acts (yes even the fool of a baddie), costume, hair and makeup (hilarious), and did i mention johnny and angelina??? this ones a keeper, in memory of the technological naivety of the 90's... and we thought we were so smart:)
scenes i loved to laugh at then- crash and burn's competition (deceased, rigour mortis...)
scenes i laugh at now- burn's machine at home (phreak: wow, 218kpbs, man!!!)
hackers of the world, unite!:D
Rating: Summary: Excellent Review: minus the graphics they didnt actually have back then for computers the movie was absolutely great. the plot was awesome, acting was acurate, hacking is a battle, hopefully the world will accept technology and take the time to understand it instead of being ignorantly blind.
Rating: Summary: Hackers Review: In response to 'ace-turned-joker' all i have to say is, YOU ARE A PHUCKIN LAME ASS! This movie is great BECAUSE it's a hollywood take on hackers.
And you trying to prove you have some knowledge about hacking or cracking makes you even more of a PHUCKIN LAMER who can't help but prove his NOOBNESS by showing everyone else that he can use Google to get information about "hacking". Do us all a favor, put the phuckin shot gun in your mouth and pull the trigger...
Rating: Summary: Hackers (1995) Review: This is a movie that you would, I believe call fun and enjoyable. Not a serious film by any consideration it is fluff really, but you see Angelina Jolie in it which is always a treat. One of the best scenes for me was harassing the Secret Service agent with their computer wizardry. It really is something.
