Rating: Summary: AWESOME movie. If you like gangster films or not. A classic Review: great movie, great acting. Plenty of violence, and drugs. I recomend it to anyone who likes gangster flicks and violence.
Rating: Summary: Great movie, Al Pacino's best work ever. Review: Ranks up there with the Godfather. One of those great movies you can watch over and over again and never tire of it.
Rating: Summary: Al Pacino is one Bad [Boy]! Review: Scarface of course was a remake of the 1931 classic "Scarface" (duh!) and was nothing like it. This Scarface is much better however. This film has to offer three hours of maximum entertainment with double crossing, killing, and pleanty of blow. This early 80's flick shows that Al Pacino can really be one Colombian BAD [boy]. I loved it!
Rating: Summary: Everything you would want in a Al Pacino movie Review: One of the best movie Brian De Palma ever directed and one of my many favorite movies starring Al Pacinoinall a very good movie your sure to enjoy
Rating: Summary: Scareface - A Modern Greek Tragedy Review: Scarface is excessive in aspects a movie can be; it's loud, explosive and in your face; but it also has soul and irony -- To achieve one's dream, and then only having your dream realized becomes your undoing is the major twist of the movie. Al Pacino gives an over-the-top performance as a cuban rufugee who works his way from the streets to running his own drug operation. His hard work and honour drive him to the top, but its his honour that becomes his undoing as he loses all that he has gained and loved in the end. For about three hours you are drawn into a world where death, drugs and double-crosses are the foundation of survival. Greed and power is intoxicating and honour is a character flaw. Scarface is a modern classic, in the style of a greek tragedy.
Rating: Summary: A brutal, stroke of genius of a movie. Review: This remake of the 1932 classic has become a virtual synonym for over-the-top violence, profanity and amorality. This reputation is not entirely undeserved. Still, those who see only the mahyem are missing a sad, gripping, and dead-on-the-money tale of ambition and hubris. Pacino is at his absolute best, and is supported by a phenomenal cast. You probably won't find parts of this movie easy to watch (the chainsaw-in-the-shower scene is as much a part of movie folklore as "Here's lookin' at you, Kid), but it's a work of genius for both director DePalma and much of the cast.
Rating: Summary: Pacino, enough said. Review: Al Pacino once again gives a masterful performance. A great story of a young Cuban refugee who makes it big in the drug business. Extremely realistic throughout.
Rating: Summary: Capticating, Compulsive, a Classic Review: This is a movie which you either love or you hate. It is a colt movie, and one which has moved people all over the world. It is not about gangsters and killing although there is plenty of it there, it is about a man with a dream, the American dream and he would do whatever it takes to get it. The rest of it is just decor. I love this movie, I watch it with my friends once a month and they love it too. It motivates up to do our best at whatever our dream is. I hope it has the same effect for you.
Rating: Summary: THE BEST MOVIE EVER CREATED Review: EXPLODING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHAT MORE CAN I SAY. I'VE SEEN THIS MOVIE OVER 1,000X. I CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT OWNING A COPY.
