Rating: Summary: Fellowship exceeds Two Towers. . .Reels in LOTR Magic Review: This movie is still one of my favorites, despite the releases of 'The Two Towers' onto video and 'The Return of the King' into theaters. This film captures the magic and majesty of 'The Lord of the Rings'. Maybe not as good as the books, but it is still a wonderful movie. It is incredibly acted with a phenomal cast (feel THAT, hollywood) and the special effects will blow you away. And not only that, but the emotional story of it will capture you, as will the impressive fight scenes. We start off in the peaceful Shire, where we find a young, innocent, happy-go-lucky Frodo Baggins. But unbeknowest to him is the magic of the ring that his uncle Bilbo has had for years. And it is only when the ring becomes his that be begins to fully understand its power. . . and its evil. With a cast of loyal friends and fighters (three fellow hobbits, a wizard, two men, an elf and a dwarf), Frodo sets off as the bearer of the ring to the one place it can be destroyed - Mt. Doom. But can they overcome all obstacles that lay in their narrow path, and yet stay hidden from the all seeing eye, the ring's powerful master? This movie is wonderful. Between the time that the Two Towers went out of the theaters and when it came onto video, I must have watched this film literally 100 times. There was a point where I could probably recite every line and movement. This movie provides wonderful exitement, intrique, and a darn good story! Buy it now.
Rating: Summary: new zealand is a pretty place! Review: this movie is strong on special effects and scenery - makes me want to jump on a plane and go to nz - but it's weak on story and characterization. i cringed every time someone opened their mouths to speak. the film drags for the first hour and a half, and it's not until the fellowship is formed and they start off on their little journey that the story starts to be interesting. but even then, it's only really riveting in the battle scenes which were well done. there was enough here to make me curious how the story continues. but it's not good enough to make me shell out the [$$$] to see it at the cine, much less the [$$$] to buy it. i'll borrow it from my local library - for free. that way, i won't feel like i didn't get my money's worth.

Rating: Summary: The Lord Of The Rings: the fellowship of the ring Review: This movie is such an amazing film the cinematography the score the visual effects all made the movie so beautiful and grand. ...I just couldn't believe my eyes it just incorporated all the aspects that I love in movies I was excited to see them all together the music the camera size 2:35:1 (widescreen)and the visual effects you see not that many movies incorporate that I hoped that the extended version would be rated r for graphic violence but i was wrong...i'm definatly buying the extended edition I'm a movie buff and it will be wise for you the first time buyer to buy the extended edition with the whole extra 30 minutes and DTS 6.1 suround sound ...and I recomend anybody who is a fantasy lover like me to buy this beautiful and cinematic achivement.
Rating: Summary: Best film of the century!!!!!! Review: This movie is the best film!! It's the greatest fantasy film since Willow! The scenery is breathtaking, the special effects are stunning, acting is beautiful, very high in suspense, drama, and action!! This film is what a great movie should be. Anyone with any taste should see this work of art, although it may not follow the book 100%(althugh it's pretty close), but hey, what movie-from-book conversion is?
Rating: Summary: The Best Review: This movie is the best I've ever seen. ALMOST as good as the books and that is saying a lot. The characterization for the main characters is almost like I origianally imagined them, the effects are amazing, and the score is indescribably good! I love this movie!!!
Rating: Summary: The best movie EVER! (harry potter, eat your heart out!) Review: This movie is the best I've seen, and I've seen A LOT! It's good for all ages (except for small children under 8). There's basically NO romance, and it's different from other movies; it has a special touch to it, and you can only find it if u watch it. :) I've watched the movie twice, and I'm anxious for it to come out on video and DVD. This is taken place in a magical world with elves, humans, magic, dwarfs, and lots more. An exciting adventure for all ages! A must see! Take my word for it, it'll be one of the bets movies you've ever seen

Rating: Summary: Wonderful Performance!!!! Review: This movie is the best movie that I have seen in the longest time! I beleived that the actors portrayed the characters really well especially Ian McKellen, as Gandalf and Elijah Wood, as Frodo and of course the rest of the cast was perfect for the movie. The way they created Rivendalell and lothlorien was beautiful! The movie was so good it almost seemed magnificently real! I loved it so much I saw it with in a week three times. I think this trilogy out does star wars totaly!
Rating: Summary: The best movie ever Review: This movie is the BEST picture EVER made (IMO). They made the whole fantasy so real and life-like I felt as though I was there. This is the only movie I have gone to see three times. You have to read the books first to appreciate what an awesome movie this really is. I can't wait until the next one!!
