Rating: Summary: Not going to replace The Fugitive just yet Review: One of the problems US Marhsals has is that it is suffering a bit of an identity crisis. Is it a sequel or just another insight into Gerard's job? It's a bit of a rehash of The Fugitive while falling short of being as good - Gerard's obsession is more of a caricature, despite Tommy Lee Jones' best efforts to salvage it, and sometimes the script lapses into cliche, with a frankly bizarre plot which is sort of something to do with the CIA. Robert Downey Jr comes across well, as does Jones, but Wesley Snipes could have been much better. It's a good hour or so spent if you can't find The Fugitive, but otherwise it's best not to be too critical while watching it.
Rating: Summary: Fast Moving, But Little Plot Review: This movie was full of intense action but had little plot development. There are many fighting sequences and much of the movie is chase scenes. This movie was advertised as a sequel to The Fugitive, but it has nothing to do with that movie at all. The DVD version has great quality video and surround sound, but at parts background sounds may block out dialogue.
Rating: Summary: U.S. Marshals Review: I have to say that when I first saw this movie on VHS I was amazed. Now that I have seen this movie on DVD I must say I have been blown away. The action does not stop and the movie keeps you on the edge of your seat through out the entire film.
Rating: Summary: This is a GREAT movie!!!! Review: U.S. Marshals is on my top 10 favorite movie list at number 2!! Its not my all time favorite movie but its pretty close!! I saw this movie for the first time in the theatre with four of my other friends the first day it came out!! And i loved it!! So whoever hasnt seen this movie yet go and get it!!!
Rating: Summary: Worth watching, but no more than that! Review: While it is certainly not the quality of its predecessor, The Fugitive, it is a reasonably good action film. Tommy Lee Jones and Wesley Snipes, normally outstanding actors, struggle against a slow methodical script, which telegraphs the conclusion halfway through the movie. It is worth watching, but don't expect too much.
Rating: Summary: Don't bother Review: A painfully pale shadow of the outstanding original
Rating: Summary: NOT AS GOOD AS "THE FUGITIVE" BUT FUNNER Review: U.S. MARSHALS IS MORE FUN TO WATCH THAN "THE FUGITIVE" IT ALSO HAS A BETTER PLOT,BETTER FUGITIVE (DON'T GET ME WRONG,HARRISON FORD WAS A GREAT FUGITIVE),BETTER HUMOR,PERHAPS A BETTER CAST,AND PERHAPS BETTER ACTION SEQUENCES. THE STORY HAS TO DO WITH AN EX CIA AGENT WHO WAS FRAMED FOR MURDER ON THE RUN FROM U.S. MARSHAL TOMMY LEE JONES. VIEWERS WHO ARE EXPECTING THIS TO BE AS GOOD AS "THE FUGITIVE" MAY BE DISAPPOINTED,BUT THE MAJORITY OF VIEWERS WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED. HAVE FUN WATCHING THIS FILM. I ALSO HIGHLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU BUYIT.
Rating: Summary: I thought it was great. Review: I thoroughly enjoyed U.S. Marshalls. I rented it and am now going to go buy it. Tommy Lee Jones is great, as usual.
Rating: Summary: If it wasn't a sequel, it would have been better. Review: The Fugitive was one of the best thrillers ever, so it's hard to beat. And US Marshals doesn't beat it. The plane crash is good, but not as good as the train wreck from the original. The chases are good, but not as fast paced and exciting. I also found the ending was a bit bleak, and didn't have the same sigh of relief as the original. All in all, it's still an entertaining movie.
Rating: Summary: A great Sequal with new plot twists Review: This action-packed sequal to The Fugitive has the excitment and the brains of a great sequal. With a complex plot, superb acting, and action to keep you thinking, this is a sequal you don't want to miss. Tommy Lee Jones diserved his Oscar in the Fugitive, and diserves another in this reprise. A thouroughly enjoyable movie!
