Summary: Stop tripping ! ! ! ! I love this movie
Review: ...People it was filmed in 1982.Of course it doesnt have the cutting edge video technology. What are you expecting ? ? ? ? I love the idea of making this a 3D movie. I hope they have a version of the DVD release has a 3D version to it....I know it can be done.Nothing like a big ... shark coming thru your Tv to get you.In the vhs copy you can tell what parts are in 3D (the opening scene where the what appears to be a grouper get bit into whe the head rotates in bloody sea and stares at you.)Awesome ! ! ! !
The story from what I hear takes place in Orlando Sea World. This is the only thing that plays head games with me.I live in Lakeland FL 20 minuts away and I have an annual pass to Seaworld Orlando and alot of the movie couldnt have been filmed here.1st Theres no Lagoon and where its location is I dont see where the Ocean connects to the park.(looking at Seaworld map)In any case all this doesnt matter. The movie entertained and did its job of keeping us in suspence through out the whole movie.Ok it was no matrix when it comes down to imaging but it was still good enough.
The plot:
Mike Brody (Dennis Quaid) son of "The Chief" is grown up and works for Sea World w/ his girlfriend(Bess Armstrong). The story evolves around Sea World opening and The owner or what ever he is Louis Gosset JR does all he can do to get things off to a great start.when a baby 15 foot(baby lol) Great White finds his way into the park and a worker is missing in Action. They decide to turn this into something possitive by making the shark into an attraction which doesnt work (Great Whites cant live with the current water-filter system) So the baby dies.So Ok they think thats that case closed-WRONG mom comes looking for the baby and she's a tad bit cranky.Im not going to ruin the ending ...just in case you havent seen the movie. I recommend this flick.2 thumbs up.I always root for the bad guy.( of course do you blame her looking for her baby and, come to sense her baby was done wrong.shoot People, you'd do the same thing if it happened to you. dont blame the shark.)
Just buy the video/DVD.

Summary: A petty excuse for a movie
Review: I could not finish this movie it was so bad. The most boring movie I've ever seen in a long time. First you find that you loose Roy Shceider, ok. The special affects I could of done my self with cardboard and paper. The gay plot is some chick wants to put a thirty-five foot Great White Shark into Sea World well it starts to eat people. The gore doesn't ever make sense. Example this guy you find floating dead in the ocean with his hand chopped off like scissors had done it. The filmmaker wants you to assume a shark has snipped this guy arm right off and not eaten him. About one week later in the movie, you see the same guys bones still floating in the exact same position. Truly one of the worst movies I've ever seen.

Summary: HAHAHAHA...so funny and so awful
Review: This is one of the most pathetic movies to watch-yet whenever my Brother and I watch it we have the biggest laughs together.

Dennis Quaid is older Mike Brody and some other dude is Sean, (not a bad actor). They are running the new Sea World in Florida. And after having fun, along comes ..... Jaws 3. AIEEEEE !!!

Such a big turd at now 35 feet, she roams the area in search of revenge after the people of the facility accidently killed her 15 ft baby. So, here she comes...and the shark is huge ! Blue screen FX are so awful....watching her big butt swimming across the screen is hilarious. The script is so 80's typical...a NEW AGE theme park and they become food for ... JAWS 3 !! Aieeeeee.....blubblub....crunch.....munch....

Unbelievably after winning an Oscar, Louis Gossit Jr. has the guts to star in such a dump of a movie? HAHAHAHA

The funniest part is when the little girl spots Jaws coming towards their underwater plexiglass view window and says, "Look daddy...loooook!" And without chaging his dull and bored facial expression yet changing his voice, he yells so loud, "Holy ...."

Imagine sounding so scared, swearing , yet looking half asleep?? So much laughs all day with that scene.

Rotten-rotten movie...but full of "THIS IS SUCH A GARBAGE MOVIE" laughs.

Summary: The Third Dimension Is Not Terror, Not Quite
Review: I'm sorry to inform the viewer from Texas that there is a JAWS 4, and it's much worse than JAWS III.

JAWS III, originally JAWS 3-D, is such a wasted opportunity. Joe Alves and the new JAWS producers had conceived a fun, original, and exciting story that takes JAWS and puts it in a disaster movie setting. Furthermore, Chief Brody's charismatic sons, all grown up now, were thrust in the middle of the mayhem.

Years after another mammoth Great White terrorized the New England island of Amity, two Great Whites swim into the Sea World Amusement Park located off the Florida coast. Chief Brody's eldest son, Mike Brody, works at Sea World as an engineer and his younger brother, Sean Brody(aged quite quickly since JAWS 2) just happens to visit when the sharks hit.

All the elements were in place for a smash hit.

But alas, the JAWS III screenwriters wrote an incomplete script. The terror and excitement wasn't milked as much as should have been and the characters were nondescript and underdeveloped. Strong personalities and relationships, present in JAWS and JAWS 2 just aren't present in JAWS III.

The laid back rapport of the Sea World workers during the beginning of the movie is fun, and the reunion between Mike and Sean is heartfelt, but characterization soon fades.

The least likable characters, Mike Brody and Kathryn Morgan, played by a smarmy Dennis Quaid and an annoyingly chipper Bess Armstrong are wrongly positioned as the heroes while the more charismatic characters, Calvin Bouchard, played by a ghetto accented Louis Gossett Jr., and Philip Fitzroyce, played by a cocky and dashing Simon MacCorkindale, are relegated to supporting roles.

Ironically the 3D filming process is what killed the film. It was quite draining, and the actors got tired. It shows. The film looks cheap, unlike the Zanuck and Brown JAWS films. Joe Alves, the director(and the production designer for JAWS and JAWS 2) must accept most of the blame for these problems. JAWS III was his first and last directorial assignment.

Viewers should watch the movie for Alan Parker's powerful and bombastic score. It's just as good as John Williams's scores. Parker even comes up with his own unique variation of the JAWS theme.

Summary: You've Met Bruce.... Now Meet Mother!
Review: This movie was really bad for the Jaws Series. To me, the series didn't exactly go downhill during Jaws 2. In a way, this movie and Jaws: The Revenge shouldn't have even been made. This movie is about Mike Brody(Dennis Quaid), son of Martin Brody(The hero Roy Scheider from Jaws and Jaws 2), now is an engineer at Sea World with his marine biologist girfriend Kathryn(Bess Armstrong) for Sea World Owner Calvin Bouchard(Louis Gousett Jr.). Mike is then visited by his brother Sean(John Putch). One day, Mike and Kathryn catch a baby Great White shark in the lagoon of the water. Days later, the shark dies on display. Mike and Kathryn discover that one of the workers was killed by a 35-foot Great White Shark. But the weird thing was that it wasn't the baby shark, it was it's mother. Calvin trys to close up the park in time, but the shark has terrorized an undewater tunnel. Mike makes a plan.If he can restore the tunnels energy, then the people would be safe, but the fact is that having a 35 foot Great White Shark terrorizing Sea World(which is in the middle of Florida) in search of her baby is ridiculous. Great ending. Originally titled JAWS 3-D.

Summary: Worst Movie Ever Made
Review: This was the worst movie ever created. I could have made better movies with crayons and glitter. Don't spend a dime buying this piece of garbage. I would rather watch paint dry than endure this swill. Thank God there is no Jaws 4.

Summary: Pretty good movie
Review: I dont care what anyone says this is a good entry into the Jaws series. It isnt as good as the original but its a sequel what do you expect. By itself its a good scary movie and the shark is more real looking in this installment. The gore is definetly over the top in this one remember when the guy got stuck in the shark's throat. If you want something on par with the original sorry this aint the place but if your looking for a good horror movie this is for you.

Summary: We haven't seen the last of the dorscal fin
Review: This one has got to be the best out of all the jaws series. The special effects are really neat and the shark dosen't look mutated either like they make some creatures in sea creature movies look. A baby shark gets in through a falty gate and its mother follows it in. After he people of sea world catch it, it strangely dies, then its mother gets mad. The mother shark is smart, after it swallows a scuba diver and his helper, it swallows the raft too, leaving no evidence at all. Then at the grand opening of sea world, after 4 years of installing a new underwater aquarium, the shark goes on a rampage devouring 9 people. Then it goes after te people in the underwater aquarium and almost drowns them. Then, it goes after the people in the underwater control room. After it swallows a guy with a hand grenade in his hand, the guy gets stuck in her mouth. Then the people in the control room pull the trigger with a pole and the Shark explodes in a 3-D motion and her jaws fly right into the screen, if theres one thing I've noticed in the Jaws movies, all of them seem to die by exploding. I would recommend this to anyone who's a fan of Jaws but to watch one and two first.

P.S. I had to rewrite my review because my last one didn't all show.

Summary: This one means buisness
Review: I like this one out of all of them because of the neat 3-D shots and of how its in sea world. ... I think that if I had a choice, I'd pick this one and number 2 out of all the shark series. In my opinion, this was the best one out of all of them.
